Thank you for purchasing this Isabel floor lamp. Please read the instructions carefully before use to ensure safe and satisfactory operation of this product.
Warnings!

  • Always use the correct bulb type with the correct wattage as indicated in the specification table. Never exceed the Max. power rating. When changing a bulb always switch off at the mains first and allow the bulb to cool down before handling. Dispose of used bulbs carefully. The bulb and surrounding parts can become extremely hot during use.
  • The supply cable runs through the inside of this product. Take care not to place undue stress on the cable whilst unpacking to prevent the possibility of a poor connection.
  • If you are in any doubt consult a person competent to give advice on the assembly of electrical equipment.
  • If the external flexible cable of the lamp is damaged it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • To prevent electrocution switch off at the mains supply before assembling or maintaining this fitting. Ensure the plug is not connected to any power supply and read instructions before assembly.
  • If moving the floor lamp always carry it from the base. Do not lift the floor lamp by the stem only as damage may occur

Assembly

  1. Unpack the product and remove all packaging. Be careful not to scratch the surface of the product whilst removing the plastic wrapping.
  2. Lay the product out on the floor. If the floor is not carpeted please cover it with a soft cloth to avoid damage to the flooring and surface of the product. Assembly should take place with the product laying flat.
  3. It may be necessary to remove protective packaging (plastic/cardboard) located at cable entry points of the product.
  4. Screw the centre pole onto the decorative shaded head of the item ensuring that the head is kept still and that the pole is threaded on ensuring that the cable does not twist.
  5. Screw the lower pole onto the centre pole. Hold the centre pole still and only rotate the lower pole so as not to twist the internal cable.
  6. Gently pull the excess cable out of the base until the assembled poles meet the base.
  7. Turn the base section onto the other sections. Keep the poles parallel to avoid cross-threading. Keep the upper poles stationary and only rotate the base section.
  8. Ensure all of the excess cables is removed from the base.
  9. Stick the foam pad evenly over the base of the product to protect the floor when in use.
  10. Stand the floor lamp upright and ensure all the assembled parts are fully tightened. Hold the base still and turn the upper pole sections one by one, working from the top down in a clockwise direction. This will ensure all poles are locked tightly against each other.
  11. Fit the shade by first removing the shade ring from the lamp holder. Position the hole in the centre of the shade over the lamp holder and replace shade ring to secure the shade in place.
  12. Fit the bulb, type and wattage as displayed on the fitting. The stated wattage must not be exceeded.
  13. The floor lamp is now ready for use.

Care instructions

Wipe clean with a clean dry cloth, when product is switched off and has cooled down.
