- Remove appliance from packaging and check for signs of any damage.
- Check whether the voltage indicated of the rating label is consistent with your household voltage.
- Before first use, wash the accessories (shelf/bowl/measuring cup) with warm soapy water and dry.
USING THE MEASURING CUP
Before switching the appliance on please fill the egg cooker with water using the measuring cup to the required level indicated. The measuring cup gives an indication of the water level needed to cook soft, medium or hard boiled eggs. The amount of water used will also depend on how many eggs you want to cook.
USING THE EGG PIERCER (LOCATED ON THE BASE OF THE MEASURING CUP)
In order to avoid cracking the eggs it is best to pierce a small hole in
the larger end of the egg. Then place the smaller end of the egg onto the egg
tray shelf, repeat for all the eggs you are cooking then place the egg tray
shelf onto the heating plate. Replace the lid on top of the egg tray shelf. DO
NOT PLACE EGG TRAY SHELF OR POACHER TRAY DIRECTLY ONTO THE HEATING PLATE!
COOKING EGGS
- Plug the Egg Cooker into a power supply and switch on using the power button. The Egg Cooker will automatically switch off when all the water has evaporated and the power button light will go off. The eggs will now be cooked to your preference. Unplug the appliance from the power supply. Remove the stainless steel lid – be careful as lid will be very hot and steam may be released. Take out the egg tray shelf and cool the eggs ready for peeling.
- Note: if using very large eggs you may only be able to cook 3-5 eggs at once.
- Note: if you want to stop the cooking process at any point then switch off at the socket.
POACHING EGGS
To poach eggs fill the egg cooker with a full measuring cup of water and
crack the egg(s) into the poacher tray. Place the egg tray shelf onto the
heating plate and place the egg poacher tray on top of the egg tray shelf.
Then place lid onto the Egg Cooker and press on switch. The Egg Cooker will
now begin poaching your egg(s). Switch off the Egg Cooker and remove the
poached eggs once they have been cooked to your liking.
