SAFETY
- Risk of Electric Shock – The UPS device does not have a structure that allows the user to perform independent repairs or replacement. Do not open the housing yourself.
- The UPS is powered by a sealed, maintenance-free 12V lead-acid battery in AGM technology.
- If you connect the device to a non-bipolar, three-core, grounded outlet, there is a risk of electric shock.
- In the event of a fault, the device should be switched off with the built-in button, then disconnected from the mains and all devices connected to the UPS must be disconnected.
- The device is not protected against moisture. Avoid use in damp rooms. Do not place it near containers with liquid and moisture sources.
- The device is suitable for work in room conditions.
- Do not plug the device into its own power outlet. Do not plug the mains plug into the output socket of the device.
- The UPS has internal guards and stabilizers and limited power. Therefore, do not connect any additional surge protection devices, extension cords or power distributors.
- The UPS is not suitable for powering equipment outside the category of IT equipment. It can not be used to power medical devices or household appliances (kettles, vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens).
- To prevent overheating, do not cover the unit, block the access to the air, expose to sunlight, or install it near heat sources such as radiators or heaters.
- Disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning. Do not use liquid detergents to clean the device.
- Do not throw the battery into the fire as it can explode.
- Do not disassemble the built-in battery. The electrolyte is dangerous to eyes and skin.
- Follow these safety instructions to avoid a short circuit or electric shock:
- 1. When handling the battery, remove all metal parts (rings, watches) by hand;
- 2. Use only tools with insulated handles;
- 3. Use insulating gloves;
- 4. Do not place metal tools on the battery case near the terminals;
- 5. Before disconnecting the battery, turn off the UPS and disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
- Repairs and replacement of the battery must only be carried out by trained technicians at authorized service centers.
- Replacement should be with a battery of the same type and parameters.
- During the exchange, the ambient temperature must not exceed 40 degrees Celsius.
- When installing the device, make sure that the leakage current does not exceed 3.5 mA.
The appliance is marked with the crossed-out waste bin symbol. This mark
indicates that this device can not be disposed of with other household waste
after its useful life.
ATTENTION! This device must not be disposed of with the trash! The
product should be recycled through separate collection of prepared items.
Proper handling of used electrical and electronic equipment helps prevent
harmful effects on human health and the environment caused by the presence of
hazardous components and the improper storage and handling of these equipment.

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE GREEN CELL UPS
-
Device
After removing it from the packaging, make sure that no damage in transit is visible on the case of the device. If you notice any damage, do not connect the device and contact the seller. -
Charging
The device leaves the factory with fully charged batteries. However, due to the self-discharge phenomenon, it may be necessary to charge it after receiving. Switch on the device and connect it to the mains.
Leave the UPS for about 6 hours without load to fully charge it. -
Location
The device should be used under controlled conditions to ensure adequate airflow. Be sure to avoid: large pollutants (dust, sand, etc.), Humidity, Corrosion sources high temperatures.
At the same time, make sure the UPS is not near the computer monitors to avoid interference. -
Connection
Connect the PowerProof power supply to a bipolar socket with ground pin. Then you can connect the computer and other devices to the output jacks. ATTENTION! Do not connect devices via extension cords or distributors. -
Commissioning
To start the device, press the POWER button on the front of the case.
To turn off the UPS, press the button again. -
cold start
Press the POWER button to force the battery to work.
