HANDHELD MICROPHONE OPERATION
- For the Handheld Microphone, insert fully charged 3.7v, 640mA rechargeable batteries before using.
- A fully charged Lithium battery can last up to 7 hours in continuously, but in order to ensure optimum performance, it is recommended that you recharge the batteries after every 6-7 hours of use.
- Turn ON the handheld microphone by sliding the POWER SWITCH (1) to turn on the TX first. The RF LED (7) on the receivers should now be lit, indicating a received signal from the transmitter. The BATTERY INDICATOR LED (2) will be lit, indicating usable battery strength. In the case of a dead or low battery, it will either not power ON at all or will stay ON continuously, indicating that the batteries should be recharged. To preserve battery life, turn the transmitter OFF when not in use.
- The microphone is now ready to use. Adjust the P.A volume per the Audio Output Microphone Connection section.
- While in use, you can adjust the VOLUME (3) of the microphone
Note: Observe care in selecting P.A. volume, transmitter location, and speaker placement so that acoustic feedback (howling or screeching) is avoided.
When Charging, please make sure the power adaptor is in 5v, 1000mA
TRANSMITTER OPERATION
- Antenna: Lifting up the Antenna (1) at both sides of the receiver lightly.
- Power Input: Plug the AC/DC ADAPTER provided into the DC INPUT JACK (2) on the back of the receiver. Then plug the power supply into an AC outlet which is 110~240V, 50/60Hz Note: Any 13.5V DC regulated source with 400mA capability can also be used. Press the POWER SWITCH (4) once to turn ON the receiver. The POWER ON LED (5) will be lit and the receiver is now operational.
- Audio Output: The Receiver has an adjustable line-level UNBALANCED LINE/MIX 3.5mm jack (3) AUDIO OUTPUT. Connect the 3.5mm jack to the receiver using the 6.3mm Audio cable jack to the AMPLIFIER or Mixer.
- Power Switch: Press the POWER SWITCH (4) once to turn ON the receiver.
- The POWER ON LED: Turn OFF the receiver, the POWER ON LED (5) indicator light is lit and the receiver is operational.
- RF LED: When the receiver and the mic are turned ON, the RF LED (6) will be lit and operational.
- AF LED: The receivers are equipped with an AF LED indicator (7) showing the audio is present from the transmitter. If this LED light blinks continuously, decrease the Mic volume, or overload distortion may result. The RF LED DISPLAY (6) indicates the TRANSMITTER (TX) is ON. When it is lit up, the TX is in the usable range. If not lit up or flickering, either the TX is not ON or it is out of range. Move the TX closer to re-establish the connection.
