Important Safeguards

• Clean the floor beneath the mats and make sure that the floor is dry before placing the chair mat in position.

• Do not use in locations where they are liable to get wet. Any liquid spilled on the mat surface should immediately be wiped up and dried to reduce the risk of slipping.

• Ensure your chair mat is the correct side up:

  •  For mats designed for carpet use, ensure the grippers/spikes are facing
    down into the carpet pile.

  • For mats designed for hard floors, ensure the lightly textured side of the mat is facing upwards.

• Do not rest furniture other than your caster-based chair on the chair mat.

• Clean the mat surface when required to remove any dirt or grit that could damage the mat.

•  Clean only with a cloth or sponge soaked in mild soapy water.

• Dry thoroughly before use.

CAUTION :

Risk of injury! This mat is rolled under pressure. Due to the unique memory characteristics of polycarbonate products, it will revert immediately to its flat state when the band(s) are released or removed.

Operation

1. Place the rolled mat on the floor and restrain the mat in its rolled state while the straps/bands are cut or removed.
2. Gently allow the pressure to release by letting the mat unroll in a slow and controlled manner ensuring the mat is restrained at arm’s length until it is full open.
3. Repeat this procedure in small steps and allow the mat to gradually unroll.
4. In case of any doubt, do not unroll the mat on your own. Get a second person to help you.
5. Once unrolled, your polycarbonate mat will be totally flat and ready for immediate use!
