IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product.
- The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquid shall be placed on the product.
- This product is intended to play audio via a 3.5 mm audio jack connector.
- This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply, voltage, and current rating correspond with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
- This product is classified as protection class II. This means the product is equipped with reinforced or double insulation between the main supply circuit and the output voltage or the casing. Therefore it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth (ground).
- Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Long-term exposure to loud music or sounds may cause hearing loss. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
- This product should not be used near water.
WARNING
The mains plug is used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.
Connection
- Connect the product’s power plug to the appropriate power socket.
- Connect the 3.5 mm audio jack connector to the audio output jack of your computer.
NOTICE
You can use the product with an external audio device via the AUX IN socket.
Connect the 3.5 mm audio jack connector of your external audio device to the
AUX IN audio socket of the product.
Operation
- Turn the volume control knob in the clockwise direction to turn the product on. The LED lights up blue.
- Keep turning in the clockwise direction to increase the volume level.
- To turn it off, turn the volume control knob all the way in the anti-clockwise direction. The LED goes off.
The volume can also be controlled via your computer/ external audio device volume settings. If the product does not play audio, ensure the audio output of your computer/ external audio device is not muted.
Using headphones (not included)
- Connect the 3.5 mm audio jack connector of your headphones to the product’s audio output jack.
- The volume can be controlled with the volume control knob.
NOTICE
After connecting the external headphones the product is muted automatically.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.
- To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
- Dry the product after cleaning.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal, or sharp utensils to clean the product.
