Important Safety

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

  • Keep the product away from sources of heat (e.g. direct sunlight), dust and water.

  • To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods. Do not use the earbuds while driving or cycling, or in any situation where you should be able to hear other sound.
    Battery Warnings

  • The battery contained in this product is non-replaceable. Do not throw the product into a fire.

  • Do not leave the battery charging for a prolonged period of time when the product is not in use.

  • Do not charge overnight.

  • Charge this product once every 3 months to avoid shortening its battery life.

  • Charge this product only with a compatible power source from reputable manufacturers e.g. a power adapter or USS port on a PC.

Intended Use
  • The product is intended for wireless audio playback. The product also can be used for hands-free calling via a paired Bluetooth® device.
  • The earbuds are protected against water jets from any direction. Do not immerse in water.
  • The battery-powered case is intended to be used in indoor dry areas only.
Before First Use
  • Check for transport damages.
  • Remove the film of the back earbud housing (This film is used to isolate the earbuds from the case to reserve the case battery during transportation).image
  • Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Stereo mode

Dual Mode: The left and right earbuds (F) are as a whole item.

  1. Power on and pairingimage 2
    Take the earbuds (F) out of the case (A) at the same time or press the MF switch 0) on both earbuds (F) up to 5 seconds to turn them on manually, and wait for 5 seconds. The right earbud will blink red and blue alternately which indicates both earbuds (F) have paired automatically.

  2. Connectedimage 3 Search and select “AmazonBasics BE-2101 ” from the list on your device to finish setting with a voice prompt from the right earbud, both earbuds (F) will blink blue every 5 seconds once the device is connected successfully.

  3. Power offimage 4 Return to the case (A) or press the MF switch(I) on either one of the earbuds (F) up to 5 seconds to turn off the earbuds (F).

Mono mode

Single Mode: The left or right earbud is as a separate item.
NOTICE: Make sure that the right earbud keeps off throughout the whole process.

  1. Power on pairing
    Take the left earbud out of the case (A), and wait for 5 seconds. The left earbud will blink red and blue alternately once it enters pairing mode.image

  2. Connected
    Search and select “Amazon Basics BE-2101 L” from the list on your device to finish settings with a voice prompt from the left earbud, and the left earbud will blink blue every 5 seconds once the device is connected successfully.image 6

  3. Power offimage 7 Put the left earbud back into the case (A) or press the MF switch (I) up to 5 seconds to turn it off.
    Notice: The above steps are also applicable to the right earbud.

Switching from Mono to Stereo pairing
NOTICE: This function only works if each earbud had been individually paired with the device before.

  • While the L or R earbud is connected, take out the other earbud from the case (A).
  • Wait for a beep tone from the previously not connected piece. This confirms that the other earbud is also added into the Bluetooth” connection.image 8

Charging the earbuds (F)

The earbuds (F) starts charging automatically when returned to the case (A).
Earbud status indicator:

  • Steady red: Charging
  • Off: Fully charged

Charging the case (A)
Use 5V-1A adapter (not included) to charge the case (A). The white LED indicators are blinking while charging. All of them will keep on when fully charged.image 11

Battery Indicators

Put the earbuds (F) back into the case (A) to trigger the battery level status. The four LED indicators correspond to different battery levels.

Reset

  1. Clear the device’s Bluetooth list, press and hold the MF switch (I) of both earbuds for 5 seconds at the same time to switch off the earbuds (F) until both earbuds (F) blink red 3 times
  2. Press and hold the MF switch (I) of both earbuds (F) at the same time until it blinks purple, the earbuds reboot.image 13

Notice: If you cannot search the paired name “Amazon Basics BE-2101” from the device’s Bluetooth list, please put both earbuds (F) back into the case (A), make sure both earbuds (F) show the red LED, take them out of the case (A) at the same time, wait for 5 seconds until the right earbud blinks red and blue alternately. This is the key step to search the device. Reset the earbuds (F) if the device still cannot be found.

Cleaning and Maintenance

During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids,

Cleaning

  • To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

Storage

  • Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in the case (A).
