interest, please read this User Manual and all the information provided before
you start using the product. The company will not be liable for any physical
injuries, property damages, or other losses resulting from failure to follow
the User Manual when operating and using the product.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our BLACK BOX. Before using it, please read and preserve this manual carefully.
Safety Indication
- Do not place the BLACK BOX on an unstable surface or at locations with high risks of product falling off.
- Do not expose the BLACK BOX to an environment of extreme temperature and humidity.
- Avoid exposing the BLACK BOX to direct sunlight and other heat sources.
- Avoid blocking the ventilation openings of the BLACK BOX.
- Do not place the BLACK BOX in any liquids.
- Do not place the BLACK BOX near water.
- Do not put anything inside the BLACK BOX, and do not place any container filled with water on the BLACK BOX.
- In stormy weather (especially when there is lightning), unplug the power cord.
- Do not step on or entangle the power cord.
- Avoid fire or shock by preventing overload of the external connection socket.
- Wipe the BLACK BOX with a dry and soft cloth (without volatiles).
- If your BLACK BOX breaks down, do not repair it yourself, but, contact a professional service person instead.
- Make sure that the BLACK BOX is appropriately placed. If you wish to install it on the wall or hang it from the ceiling, please do so under the guidance of a professional person.
- Do not exposed the device to water droplets or water splashes and “do not put liquid-filled containers on top of the device.
- Unplug the power cord if the device will not be used for a long time.
- WARNING This product is a Class A product and may cause radio interference in a living environment. In such cases, the User may need to take practical measures to prevent the interference.

Before you start
We strongly recommend that you use BLACK BOX upright. Placing the BLACK BOX in a different way can cause problems with the cooling or the life span of the components on the inside.
Connecting power
Please follow the steps below to connect the power adapter to the BLACK BOX
A. Connect the IE power cord to power plug
B: Connect the cord to 100V 220V power outlet
C: Insert the IE power plug to the power supply of the BLACK BOX Jack
Important! !! !!
It is strongly recommended that you use the IE adapter and connection cable
included in the BLACK BOX package.
It is strongly recommended that you use a grounded wall socket when using the
BLACK BOX.
Connect to the monitor
Connect the monitor to the BLACK BOX, using the HDMI connector.
Power on
Use the power button on the machine

Labeling Requirements China RoHS
In compliance with the “Measures for Administration of the Pollution Control
of Electronic Information Products (China RoHS)” issued by the relevant
regulatory authority of China, for the purpose of controlling and reducing
pollution caused by wasted electronic information products to the environment,
promoting the production and sale of low-pollution electronic information
products, and protecting the environment and human health, we disclose that
the product possibly contain the following Hazardous and Noxious Substances:
O)Indicates that the hazardous substance contained in all homogeneous
materials of this part is below the limited requirement in the SJ/T11363-2006
standard.
X)Indicates that this hazardous substance contained in at least one of the
homogeneous materials of this part is above the limit requirement in the SJ/T
11363- 2006 standard.
When used under the conditions of use described in the Manual, the hazardous and noxious substances or elements contained in this electronic information product shall not leak and cause environmental pollution or severe loss to human health and property for up to 10 years.
Warranty
Dear user,
In order for you to make better use of the product, we provide you with
warranties stated below with the warranty card supplied with the product, and
we will provide repair, replacement, and return services (the Warranty
Services) in accordance with the content and scope stipulated in the
Regulations on the Liabilities for Repair, Replacement, and Return on
Microcomputer Commodities promulgated by the relevant national authorities.
In the event of product failures within the Warranty Services, you can apply for repair service with the original copy of the warranty card at the place of the purchase (such as a dealer or agent).
Return & Repair Regulation
In case of any problems we suggest to first contact your (local) sales agent or Reseller.
If you have difficulties reaching your sales agent or if you purchased your product directly from Ipason, you can contact Ipason directly at www.ipason- europe.com/support.
- If within 30 days from the date of your receipt of the product, a performance failure occurs. You can choose to return, replace or repair the product.
- In case of hardware failure after 30 days up to 3 years after purchase of this product the service&support operator will decide whether to repair or replace the product.
- If you did not purchased an on-site-warranty service all repairs will be done in-house.
- Ipason’s service&support can only handle hardware issues. We can not serve you with any kind of software issues.
Non Warranty Regulation
In order to protect your legal rights and avoid unnecessary losses, product
failures
or damages caused by the following reasons are not covered by the Warranty
Services,
and our company is not obligated to provide free warranty repair:
- Damage caused by improper use, maintenance or protection by users;
- Damaged caused by irresistible external factors such as fire, floods, earthquake, etc.;
- Damage caused by disassembly by unauthorized service providers;
- Performance indicators or technical parameters meet product design and specification standards
- Other cases of treatment that do not meet normal use.
Friendly reminder: As the package is required to ensure the security of the product during transportation, we recommend that you keep the package for at least 3 years from the date of signing.
Warranty Card
“This warranty card is an important certificate for requesting warranty service. Please fill it out and keep it with your system documentation.
In case of return of this product, please fill in this form and send it together with the return label.”
Packaging
“In the event of a return, please be sure to return the product with its original package, and do not attached any labels on the original packaging. If there are any problems with the original packaging, the manufacturer will not provide a replacement but instead can only offer a repair service.
As products from our store are all electronic products, we would really appreciate it if you would take extra precaution to use shockabsorbing packaging materials.”
