Product Usage Instructions

Powering On the Device

  1. Locate the Power Button/Shutter Button (1) on the device.
  2. Press and hold the Power Button to turn on the device.

Using the Function Rotary Switch
The Function Rotary Switch (4) allows you to switch between different modes of operation. Rotate the switch to select the desired function.

Mute/Unmute Switch
The Mute/Unmute Switch (7) controls audio recording. Set it to Mute for recording without audio, and Unmute for recording with audio.

  • Q: How do I charge the device?
    A: To charge the device, use the provided POGO Connector (9) to connect it to a power source.

  • Q: How can I check the battery status?
    A: The Battery LED Indicator (2) provides information about the battery status. Refer to the user manual for details on interpreting the indicator lights.

Getting Start

Power on the device

  • Unlock the battery door latch and insert the battery.
  • Long press the Power Button for 3 seconds to turn on the device.
  • To turn off the device, long press the power button for 3 seconds.

Function Rotary Switch

  • S: Slave Record. Start recording when peer start recording.
  • R: Do recording.
  • N: No recording.
  • U: USB Flash Drive mode. You could attach the extension pack though POGO and use the type-c cord connecting the device with the PC to browse or download the recorded videos or snapshots.
  • A: AP mode. You could connect the device through WiFi by SSID and password. Use media player with the URI, rtsp://192.168.100.1/media/stream1, to watch the live video. To make advanced settings, use your browser connect to http://192.168.100.1/.
  • C1, C2, C3: Customized functions.

IR-Cut Rotary Switch

  • O: Daytime / true color mode.
  • I: Night time / infrared pass mode with infrared LED turned on
  • A: Automatic switch between daytime and nighttime mode.

Mute / Unmute Switch

  • Mute: Record without audio.
  • Unmute: Record with audio.

Power Button/Shutter Button

  • Long press for over 3 seconds to turn on / off the device.
  • Short press to take the picture.

LED Indicators

  • Battery level: Four blue LEDs indicates the battery remaining level.
  • Record: Red light

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in portable exposure condition without restriction.

FCC RF Exposure Information and Statement the SAR limit of USA (FCC) is 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. This Body Worn Camera had been tested against this SAR limit. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the device kept 0mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain an 0 mm separation distance between the user’s body and the device. The use of belt clips, holsters and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements, and should be avoided.
