FAQ’S
How do I get the solution to come out of the machine?
Make sure you are pressing the trigger for 10 seconds and that you have selected the correct floor type.
Why is there a yellow light flashing?
This means that the machine is still priming. You will see bubbles forming at the edges of the brush roll window. When you see this, you can begin cleaning.
What if I don’t see any bubbles?
If you don’t see any bubbles, this may mean that your water tank is not properly connected to the machine. Make sure that it is properly attached by aligning the grooves on the water tank with the tabs on the back of the machine and sliding it into place until you hear a click. Also, make sure that your water tank is filled to either the first or second water fill line.
What if I see red lights flashing?
This means that there is a problem with your water tank or cleaning solution tank. Make sure that your tanks are properly connected to your machine and that they are filled to either the first or second fill line. If it continues to flash red after checking these things, please contact customer service at 1-800-762-6337 for assistance.
What if I see green lights flashing?
This means that there is a problem with your floor type selection. If you have selected HARD FLOOR, make sure that you have pressed down on HARD FLOOR button and then select HARD FLOOR again by pressing down on it again. If you have selected RUG, make sure that you have pressed down on RUG button and then select RUG again by pressing down on it again. If it continues to flash green after checking these things, please contact customer service at 1-800-762-6337 for assistance.
Does the Bissell CrossWave vacuum and mop at the same time?
No need to vacuum and then mop. CrossWave® multi-surface cleaner vacuums and washes floors at the same time, picking up wet and dry debris.
Why is my crosswave leaving dirty water on the floor?
If you find your floors are wetter than you like, release the spray trigger and make a few dry passes to help recover excess water and dry your floors faster. Switching to hard floor mode from area rug mode will also reduce the amount of solution dispensed on your floors. The clean water tank may also be leaking.
Does Bissell CrossWave have a filter?
Bissell cross wave wet/dry filter replacement. Easily replace when dirty. Refer to your owners manual for replacement instructions.
How long does Bissell CrossWave battery last?
The internal battery lasts around 25 minutes of use, after which you have to wait four hours for it to recharge. With that amount of time, I found there was enough battery life to cover my downstairs, but I’d have to recharge to tackle the other floors.
Can you overcharge Bissell CrossWave?
WARNING Overcharging may cause battery damage, fire or explosion. TIP: Be sure
to charge unit when there is less than 10% power left, one LED flashing red.
Your BISSELL® CrossWave® Cordless has a How long is Bissell warranty?
Battery LED light display that will turn on when the unit is ON or charging to
show the battery life status.
How long is Bissell warranty?
Warranty Guide: 4 Year Limited Warranty.
Why did my BISSELL vacuum stopped working?
Vacuum problems often call for the most basic of solutions. If your Bissell PowerForce doesn’t power on at all when plugged in, check the fuse box for a blown fuse or tripped breaker. For vacs that feel sluggish, turn the knob near the foot of the device to adjust the PowerForce’s height.
