WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard
This appliance is provided with a polarized plug (one wide blade) to reduce
the risk of electric shock. The plug fits only one way into a polarized
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the plug by modifying the plug in
any way or by using an adapter. If the plug does not fit fully into the

How to Make Popcorn
NOTE: Popcorn types and brands vary in freshness and moisture content. Popped amounts of corn may vary slightly and some unpopped kernels may remain after popping has stopped.
-
Fill measuring cup/butter melter with popcorn kernels. NOTE: One full butter melter equals 1/2 cup (118 ml) kernels. Do not exceed 1/2 cup popcorn kernels.
-
Remove popping chute and pour kernels into popping chamber. Do not operate unit without kernels in the popping chamber.
-
Replace popping chute. Place measuring cup/butter melter on top of popping chute.
-
If desired, place thin pats of butter in the butter melter, allowing butter to melt as the unit heats. Softened butter will yield best results.
-
Place bowl under popping chute large enough to accommodate up to 18 cups (4.3 L) of popped corn. Plug in unit to turn on.
-
Unplug unit when popping slows down to 3 to 5 seconds between pops. Using an oven mitt carefully set aside chute and measuring cup/butter melter. Dump the remaining popcorn and kernels from the popper into a bowl. Pour melted butter over popcorn. See Topping Ideas on page 5.
WARNING Fire Hazard
Never put butter or oil into the popping chamber.
CAUTION Burn Hazard
Popper is very hot after popping. Do not remove chute or measuring cup/butter melter without using oven mitts.
NOTE
Using less than 1/2 cup (118 ml) of kernels will result in more unpopped
kernels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dimensions of this appliance?
The dimensions of this appliance are (L x W x H): 10.5″ x 8.5″ x 9.5″.
How many servings does this appliance make?
This appliance makes up to 12 cups of popcorn per batch.
How long does it take to make a batch of popcorn with this appliance?
This appliance takes about 3 minutes to make a batch of popcorn.
What is the wattage of this appliance?
The wattage of this appliance is 1500 watts.
Can I use the machine to add salt or sugar?
No, you must do so after the popcorn has entered the bowl. It would clog the device.
Does anyone who uses this for coffee roasting have any comments?
This contraption is so noisy that it sounds like an airplane is landing in your kitchen, which isn’t good for roasting coffee.
Do I have to wait a while to cool off between batches of popcorn?
My maximum is two. I disconnected it (turned it off) between rounds to remove any unpopped kernels before turning it back on (plugging it in) for the subsequent batch. The cooling process is fairly quick.
Does it work to cook popcorn without butter?
I frequently do. Don’t put butter in it; instead, melt it in the cup at the top of the popper.
Does the popper have air vents to circulate air at the bottom of the cup?
Yes. On the bottom of the device are air vents.
Does this still work without any butter or oil?
Yes, it has been operating without any oil or butter.
When all the kernels have burst, does the entire batch of popcorn emerge? My previous purchase did, but the corn burnt when I used it.
Yes. There could be one or two kernals left. When virtually all of the kernels have popped, I disconnect mine and add any that haven’t fully to the bowl. This popper operates flawlessly.
Is the power cord long enough?
The length of the power wire is roughly 20 inches. It’s too brief, in my opinion, for my counter. But it’s a good popper.
