Start
Connect the receiver to a wall socket. You can turn the connected item on or off by pressing the power button (bottom one). The upper button is the reset button. The socket can apart from being remotely controlled also be set with a timer, a countdown and measure power consumption in the app.
Mobile app
Find and install the ‘Smart Life-Smart Living’ app on App Store or the Google
Play store depending on what device you are using. Register an account in the
app to be able to proceed. Make sure you are connected to your local network.
You have to press and hold the ‘ON/OFF’ button for 6 seconds on the receiver
to activate it’s pairing mode. The ‘Link’ LED will start blinking green. Press
‘+’ in the app and choose ‘Socket (WiFi)’ from the list. Enter the details for
your network in the next step. Wait for the receiver to connect. A prompt will
display if the connection was successful. You can now control the device in
your app.
If you want to sync the device to Amazon Echo, Google Home or other services press ‘Me’ in the app, then ‘More services’ and choose the service of your choice and follow the steps.
Safety information
Only for use in wall sockets, do not connect to an extension cord. Do not
stack wireless sockets on each other or use two receivers in close proximity.
Not suited for equipment
that needs constant supervising such as a clothes iron or a deep fryer due to
the risk of fire. Don’t open or modify the devices in any way, this should
only be carried out by a qualified technician due to the risk of electric
shocks or short circuit. The mains plug is used as the disconnect device,
therefore the mains plug shall remain readily operable. Disconnect completely
to assure no voltage output.
