C3 - Tips PROCESSING TIPS

  1. Use fresh foods for best result.
  2. When shredding or slicing, don’t cut foods into too small pieces. Fill the food with the width of the feed tube fairly full. This prevents the food from slipping sideways during processing. Alternatively use the small feed hole of the large pusher.
  3. When using the cutting discs, place foods horizontally for better result.
  4. When crumbing bread, use dry bread as fresh bread sticks to the blade.
  5. Add liquid to pureed foods after processing.
  6. Add liquid through the feed tube to process mixtures.
  7. When processing a variety of ingredients, it is not necessary to remove them from the bowl after each task, unless they exceed the MAX level marking.
  8. When processing dry and wet foods together, the mixture will process more evenly if the wet ingredients are placed in the bowl first.
  9. Pre-cut into 2cm cubes for softer structured foods (such as meat) and freeze them until just firm before processing.
  10. For more uniform results, cut foods to approximately equal in size before processing with the S-blade. More consistent processing results are achieved if the bowl is not overloaded.
  11. When processing large vegetables such as onions and potatoes, peel and cut into quarters or approximately 3cm cubes.
  12. When foods stuck on the side of the bowl during processing, switch to OFF position and unlock the lid. Use a spatula to scrap off the foods on the side of the bowl and continue processing.
  13. The dicing kit is only for dicing soft foods, do not use it for dicing hard or frozen foods. To prevent hazards and damage to the appliance, hard foods should be boiled to soft and cooled before dicing.
CLEANING AND CARE
  1. Always switch off and unplug before cleaning and taking off parts.
  2. Never immerse the cord, plug or motor unit in water or any liquid.
  3. Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. The parts are easier to clean immediately after use.
  5. Wipe clean the motor unit with a soft damp cloth, add a little mild washing liquid if necessary.
  6. The motor is permanently lubricated. Do not attempt to add any lubrication to it.

| WARNING: Blades and cutting discs are very sharp, handle with extreme care and caution. Never touch the sharp edges with your fingers.

WARNING: Do not place any parts in a dishwasher or use hot water to wash the parts as it may crack the plastics.
