INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

The Air Matrix fan can be operated with the remote control or from the control panel. Remote control requires 1x Li-Mn Button Cell CR2025 (included).

Power switch and wind speed
The LCD screen will display the ambient temperature when the fan is plugged in.
Rotate the knob clockwise to start the fan. The LCD screen will display the wind speed and mode will state ‘wind speed’. There is a choice of 8 sets of wind speeds to choose from. In standby mode the ambient temperature will be displayed. -
Timer
The longest setting for the timer is 9 hours.
There is no timer function memory. -
OSC – Left/right swing
In the default setting the fan does not oscillate. Pressing the button, left and right swing can be controlled. -
OSC – Up/down swing
In the default setting the fan does not oscillate. Press the button to control up and down swing.
Note: Do not manually adjust up and down swing! -
Mode
Start fan in default/normal mode.
The fan has four different modes: normal mode, natural mode, sleeping mode and ECO. Press the button to change the mode.
The LCD screen will display the mode set.
When plugged in the mode can be remembered.
Oscillation can be set as required.
Normal mode
Wind speed can be adjusted from 1-8. Wind speed is constant. Natural
Wind speed can be adjusted from 1-8. Wind speed varies from strong to weaker imitating natural wind blowing Sleep
Wind speed as set in natural mode with wind speed decreasing one level every 30 mins.
ECO mode
When selecting ECO mode, the fan will operate at ambient/room temperature and
depending on the temperature detected. There are five different settings:
Ambient temperature 22℃ or below: normal mode & 1 set wind speed
Ambient temperature 22-25℃: natural mode & 2 set wind speed
Ambient temperature 25-28℃: natural mode & 4 set wind speed
Ambient temperature 28-32℃: natural mode & 7 set wind speed
Ambient temperature above 32℃: normal mode & 8 set wind speed
It takes 30 seconds for the ambient temperature to be detected in ECO mode.
- NOTE:
When the fan is plugged in and panel buttons operational, a short “beep” sound will be heard.ECO mode varies slightly in different users’ environments.

- THIS APPLIANCE CAN BE USED BY CHILDREN AGED FROM 8 YEARS AND ABOVE AND PERSONS WITH REDUCED PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPABILITIES OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IF THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTION CONCERNING USE OF THE APPLIANCE IN A SAFE WAY AND UNDERSTAND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. - SOME PARTS OF THIS PRODUCT CAN BECOME VERY HOT AND CAUSE BURNS. PARTICULAR ATTENTION HAS TO BE GIVEN WHERE CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE PEOPLE ARE PRESENT.
- THE USE OF ANY ACCESSORY ATTACHMENTS NOT RECOMMENDED BY COOPERS OF STORTFORD MAY CAUSE INJURIES AND INVALIDATE ANY WARRANTY YOU MAY HAVE.
- DO NOT LET THE POWER CABLE HANG OVER THE EDGE OF A TABLE OR COUNTER, OR TOUCH HOT SURFACES.
- DO NOT PLACE ON OR NEAR HEAT SOURCES.
- USE ON A LEVEL, STABLE SURFACE.
- DO NOT COVER THE ITEM IN ANY WAY WHEN IN USE AS THIS MAY CAUSE OVERHEATING.
- DO NOT USE THIS APPLIANCE FOR ANY OTHER USE THAN THE INTENDED USE IT IS DESIGNED FOR.
- ENSURE THERE IS SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THIS APPLIANCE AND OTHER ITEMS ON THE WORK SURFACE OR WORK STATION, OR SUFFICIENT DISTANCE BETWEEN THE APPLIANCE AND THE CONFINES OF THE AREA IN WHICH IT IS SITUATED. WE RECOMMEND A MINIMUM CLEARANCE AROUND ALL FACES OF AT LEAST 10CM.
- TO PROTECT AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT IMMERSE POWER CABLE, PLUG OR APPLIANCE, IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- UNPLUG FROM OUTLET WHEN NOT IN USE AND BEFORE CLEANING.
- DO NOT OPERATE ANY APPLIANCE WITH A DAMAGED POWER CABLE OR PLUG OR AFTER THE APPLIANCE MALFUNCTIONS, OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY MANNER. WE RECOMMEND THAT THE POWER CABLE IS NOT KINKED OR STORED IN A TWISTED MANNER, AND THAT YOU REGULARLY CHECK ITS CONDITION.
- ANY REPAIRS MUST BE CONDUCTED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR ELECTRICAL SERVICE AGENT.
PLUG WIRING (UK & IRELAND)
This appliance is fitted with a moulded BS 1363 5-amp plug. If you have to replace the fuse, only those that are ASTA or BSI approved to BS1362 and with a rated current of 5-amps should be used.
If there is a fuse cover fitted, this cover must be re-fitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged the plug must not be used. Spare fuse holders and fuses are available from electrical outlets. If the socket outlets in your home or office are not suitable for this product’s plug, the plug must be removed and disposed of safely. Attempts to insert the plug into the wrong socket is likely to cause electric hazard.
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Always switch off the appliance, unplug and let it cool down before cleaning or storing.
- Do NOT immerse in water. Risk of electric shock.
- Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean this appliance.
- Wipe surfaces with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Remove stubborn spots with a cloth moistened with a mild liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powders.
- Allow to dry thoroughly before further use.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
BATTERIES
- Keep batteries away from children and pets.
- Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
- Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
- Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance with local regulations. For detailed information, contact your local authority.
- Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
