General Safety
WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
Electrocution Hazard
- If this device’s power cable is damaged, the power cable must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent safety hazards.
- This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
- Avoid the power cord, plug or other electrical parts to get in contact with water or any other liquid.
Health Hazard
- This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Operating the Device Safely

- Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.

Intended Use
The lighting system is suitable for:
- Interior illumination within tents or awning tents
- Indoor use only
The lighting system is not suitable for:
- Outdoor use
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in
accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation
and/or operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating
or mainte-nance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible
failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product
resulting from:
- Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
- Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
- Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
- Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

Technical Description
The lighting system is designed for operation with AC power or DC power. Up to three LED lights can be linked together using one power adapter.

Installing the Device
Starter Kit
- Proceed as shown (fig. 5, page 4 – fig. 7, page 4).
Add-on Kit
- Proceed as shown (fig. 8, page 4).
Using the Device
Before First Use
- Remove the plastic tab from the remote control’s battery.
- Pair the remote control to the remote receiver (fig. 10, page 5).
Switching on and off
- Proceed as shown (fig. 9, page 4).
Dimming the Light
- To dim the light continuously ,proceed as shown (fig. 11, page 5).
- To dim the light in percentage steps, proceed as shown (fig. 12, page 5).
Changing the Battery of the Remote Control
- Replace the battery with a battery of the same type (3 V CR2025, see fig. 4, page 3).
Storing the Device
- Store the device in a clean, dry and dust-free space.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING! Electrocution Hazard
Unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning and maintenance.
NOTICE!
- Never clean the device under running water or in dish water.
- Do not use sharp or hard objects, abrasive cleaning agents or bleach during cleaning as these can damage the device.
Occasionally clean the device with a soft, damp cloth.

The remote control does not work.| The plastic tab that isolates the battery
has not been removed before first use.| Remove the plastic tab.
The battery of the remote control is empty.| Replace the battery with a
battery of the same type (see chapter “Changing the battery of the remote
control” on page 11).
The remote receiver is placed within a metal enclosure or another closed-off
location and therefore the RF wireless signal is compromised.| Place the
remote receiver away from any metal enclosure or closed-off locations.
The remote control is not paired to the remote receiver correctly.| Pair the
remote control to the remote receiver (see chapter “Before first use” on page
11).
Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please
contact your retailer or the manufacturer’s branch in your country (see
dometic.com/dealer).
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents
when you send in the product:
- A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
- A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Disposal
Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins, wherever possible.
If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.
