Handstick Vacuum Cleaner
(for Model nos. AFV6061 / AFV6062)
IMPORTANT SAFETY REMINDERS
Read all instructions before using your vacuum.
When using your stick vacuum, basic safety precautions, including the
following, should always be observed:
WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:
- Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Never yank the cord of the adaptor to disconnect it from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- Do no t allow the cord to touch any hot surfaces.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or when the appliance or any other part of the appliance has been dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the vacuum. Return the unit when you need examination or repair. Incorrect re-assembly or repair can cause a risk of electric shock or injury to persons when the vacuum is used.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and any parts of the body away from running and moving parts.
- Do not use the machine to pick up flammable or combustible liquids (such as gasoline) or use it in areas where they may be present.
- Do no t pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or hot ashes.
- Use extra care when cleaning stairs.
- Do no t use the vacuum without the dust cup filter in place.
- This appliance is intended only for household use. Follow all user instructions in this manual.
- Do not leave the vacuum plugged in when unattended. Unplug the adaptor then fully charge.
WARNING:
– To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts – Unplug before servicing.
– To reduce the risk of injury of electric shock – Unplug before cleaning or
servicing.
– To reduce the risk of electric shock – Do not use outdoors or on wet
surfaces.
Important: If the suction opening in the unit or the rod is blocked,
switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove blockage before starting the unit
again.
- Do not operate the vacuum cleaner too close to heaters, radiators or cigarette butts.
- Before inserting the power plug into the wall outlet, make sure that your hands are dry.
- Before you start vacuuming, make sure to remove large or sharp objects that might damage the dust cup filter.
- Always remove the power plug from the wall outlet after fully charging.
OPERATIONS

Docking and charging
If you’re using the unit for the first time, charge the battery fully.
Dock it, then plug the jack into the vacuum cleaner. During charging, the LED indicator lights will turn on one by one till everything is lit. The charging time is 4 hours more or less.

Connect the rod and brush to the vacuum cleaner

Only one button operates the ON, OFF, and VACUUM SPEED. Press this button (shown below) to use the cleaner.

The nozzle can be used with or without the rod as shown in the following images:

To remove the rod, brush, and nozzle from the unit, press the release button then pull.

To empty the dust cup, press the dust cup release button.

To take out the HEPA filter: Either turn it by hand, then take it out or use the nozzle to help if needed.

For the other HEPA filter, press the release button and the filter will auto release.

To clean the brush roller: If the brush roller is blocked, you can easily take the roller out and clean it.
Press the release button to “unlock” then remove the lock pin.

As for charging the unit: if you have not used the unit for a time, fully charge it. It is advisable to charge the battery once a month.

MONTHS WARRANTY CARD
This product is covered by a 12-month replacement or repair warranty, which
is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (if your
product was purchased in Australia) or New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (if
your product was purchased in New Zealand).
Upon receipt of your claim, Airflo will seek to resolve your difficulties
or, if the product is defective, advise you on how to obtain a replacement or
refund.
In order to make a claim under our warranty, you must have the original proof
of purchase documentation for the product and present it when requested.
Should your product develop any defect within 12 months of purchase because of
faulty materials or workmanship, we will replace or repair it, at our
discretion, free of charge. A product presented for repair may be replaced by
a refurbished product of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished
parts may be used to repair the product.
Our replacement or repair warranty only applies where a defect arises as a
result of faulty material or workmanship during the warranty period. Your
warranty does not cover misuse or negligent handling (including damage caused
by failing to use the product in accordance with the instruction manual),
accidental damage, or normal wear and tear.
Your warranty does not:
- cover freight or any other costs incurred in making a claim, consumable items, accessories that by their nature and limited lifespan require periodic renewal (such as filters and seals) or any consequential loss or damage; or
- cover damage caused by:
power surges, power dips, voltage supply problems, or use of the product on incorrect voltage;
servicing or modification of the product other than by Airflo or an authorized Airflo service center;
use of the product with other accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to Airflo specifications; or
exposure of the product to abnormally corrosive conditions.
THE BENEFITS given to you by our warranty are in addition to other rights
and remedies under a law in relation to the product.
In Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded
under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other foreseeable loss
or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure.
Our goods also come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New
Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.
If your warranty claim is not accepted, we will inform you and if
requested to do so by you, repair the product provided you pay the usual
charges for such repair. You will also be responsible for all freight and
other costs.
Important:
You must keep the purchase receipt with this warranty card for the
warranty to be valid. This product is covered under warranty for domestic
usage only.
DO NOT MAIL . Keep this with your original purchase documents.
