Magnetic Spice Shaker Grilling Set BBQD190
You have purchased a high-quality spice shaker set that is specifically
designed for tough use, outside, next to your grill. It is equally at home,
however, in the most modern kitchen or on any table, due to the beautiful
contemporary design of this shaker set.
Here are some of the features specifically designed to make these shakers work
great next to your grill, last for years, and look stylish doing it:
- Heavy-duty brushed steel construction survives everyday drops and scratches.
- Tough acrylic window lets you see at glance what spice the shaker contains, and, very important, how much is left.
- Large capacity canisters. These are big shakers. Because you know how much BBQ rub you use on those ribs. These shakers hold more than enough.
- Powerful magnetic bases. Each shaker has a built-in powerful magnet in the base, so it adheres to steel surfaces. This helps the shakers stay on the grill table when you put them there. They don’t accidentally fall off that crowded grill shelf with just a bump.
- Fully closing lids. Each shaker has a lid that closes to keep moisture out, and to keep the spices from accidentally dumping out.
Instructions
Grinder
Turn the grinder upside down to grind spice. The grinder has a removable lid. This is important, not just to keep moisture out, but because it allows you to pre-grind the spice and then shake onto the food. If you’re adding ground pepper to a meat that is on a hot grill, you don’t want to be holding the grinder over the heat while you grind the amount you need. So, with the lid on, hold the grinder upside down, grind out the amount you need, and then, with the grinder upright, remove the lid, and apply the amount of spice you need.
Note that there is a knurled stainless steel knob inside the top
compartment of the grinder. This allows you to adjust the coarseness of the
grind. Turn clockwise for finer grinds, counterclockwise for coarser grinds.
To fill the spice grinder, turn the grinder upside down, and pull the
stainless steel bottom off the shaker.
Salt: Fill by removing the entire top of the shaker. Turn the top lid of
the shaker top to expose the hole for shaking out salt. Note that the holes in
the salt shaker are designed to accommodate finer grinds of salt. If you want
to use a very coarse salt, try using the Rubs container.
Rubs: Fill by unscrewing the entire top of the shaker. The Rub container
has a broad hole to accommodate coarse rubs.

Care: Wipe clean with damp cloth. Do not use coarse scouring pads on the
plastic window. The salt and rubs container are dishwasher safe but we
recommend hand washing with gentle soap. Do not immerse the grinder in water.
Wipe completely dry after washing, and leave containers open to fully dry
before adding more salt.
Note: Magnets don’t adhere to some stainless steel.
