ZAZU V7 Gently Rocks Prams and Strollers
Congratulations on your new ZAZU Baby Rocker! Meet Robby, your baby’s new friend, dedicated to helping your little one sleep by gently rocking your pram.
HOW DOES ROBBY WORK
- Robby takes over the task of rocking your pram, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful moment with your coffee, squeeze in a quick workout, or catch up on some work, while your baby remains soothed and happy.
- The rocker provides 40 minutes of continuous rocking and will then automatically shut off. If you activate the cry sensor, Robby can intelligently detect your baby’s cries and automatically restart the rocking motion to soothe them back to sleep.
Robby can be used from birth till 3 years
Note This product is designed to assist your child in achieving a restful
sleep and should not be used as a substitute for a caregiver, nor should it be
used continuously for an extended period.
POWER SUPPLY
Ensure the rechargeable battery is fully charged before initial use.
- When the battery indicator is blinking, it indicates that the product’s batteries are running low, and it’s time to charge it.
- To begin, remove the product from the stroller.
- Next, open the charging lid and insert the charger plug.
- While charging, the indicator light will be red, and it will switch off once the batteries are fully charged, taking about 2-2.5 hours.
- When you’ve finished charging, take out the charger plug and close the charger lid to prevent water from entering.
Note For safety reasons, please note that the product won’t operate while charging.
- Use only the supplied cable to charge the product and insert it into a USCB power supply with the following symbols.
- This product is not compatible with fast chargers.
- Please use a normal 5V charger with max 2.0 ampere or 10W.
BATTERY LIFE
- The battery life varies based on the rocking frequency. On average, a full battery can endure approximately 15 cycles when operating at the highest frequency.
- Consequently, we recommend opting for the lowest effective rocking speed to maximize the battery life.
POSITIONING THE PRODUCT
IMPORTANT
- The Rocker should be placed in a horizontal position. Avoid positioning it at an angle, as this will reduce the effectiveness of the rocking and can reduce the lifespan of the motor.
- Ensure that the stroller or pram is on a level surface and that you have engaged the brakes before using the product.
- Position the product so that the buckle faces your child because the cry sensor is located on that side. The buttons are aimed at the person standing behind the stroller.
- Never place the product directly above your child or within its reach.
- Please carefully read the safety instructions of the product you are attaching our rocker to.
- Never use the rocker on the car seat or bassinet on an elevated surface.
ATTACHING THE PRODUCT
- Grip the product securely with one hand, positioning it beneath the stroller’s horizontal bar. 2 With your other hand, take hold of the strap and insert it into the buckle until it audibly clicks into place.
- Insert the strap as far as possible using your hand.
- For a snug fit, employ the large black lever. Pull it upward to tighten by one additional notch. Repeat this step until the product is securely attached.
Note If you do not tighten the product properly, it may result in a
diminished rocking effect.
For safety reasons make sure the product is well-tightened to the
pushbar/handle.
OPERATING THE PRODUCT
IMPORTANT
- Before using the product, make sure the product is firmly attached to the stroller or car seat.
- Regularly check for damage. Do not use it when you see damage or signs of wear.
- Press the + button to initiate the rocking motion. The red LED light above the + button will illuminate, indicating that the rocker is in operation.
- The rocking will automatically stop after 40 minutes.
- Extend the horizontal bar as much as possible. The greater the distance from the wheelbase, the more effective the rocking will be.
- Adjust the rocking frequency to achieve your desired gentle motion by using the + and – buttons. There are five different frequency settings available.
The rocker will remember the last used frequency for the next time use
Note We recommend using the lowest effective rocking speed to maximize battery life.
- To manually turn off the product, press and hold the – button until the LED light switches off.
CRY SENSOR
- The rocker also features an automatic activation mode triggered by crying/sound.
- To activate the cry sensor, press the red ZAZU button. The red LED light located above the ZAZU button will illuminate, indicating that the cry sensor is in an active state.
- The cry sensor will remain active for 3 hours and will initiate rocking in response to sound.
- The rocking will continue for 10 minutes.
Note Please be aware that in noisy surroundings, the rocker may respond to other sounds aside from crying.
DETACHING THE PRODUCT
- Hold the product underneath with one hand to prevent dropping.
- With the other hand, press the small black lever until you hear a click. The strap will release. 3 Now, pull the strap out of the clip and remove the product.
Note Ensure that the cry sensor is turned OFF to prevent the product from
activating on its own.
Make sure your baby is not underneath the rocker when detaching, in case it
drops from your hand.
FAQ
HOW CAN I IMPROVE THE ROCKING OF MY STROLLER
-Ensure that the rocker is fully charged and positioned horizontally on the main handlebar. -Extend the horizontal bar as much as possible. The greater the distance from the wheelbase, the more effective the rocking will be. -Experiment with different frequencies to determine if it enhances the rocking experience. -If your stroller is carrying additional weight like groceries, bags, consider removing some of it to improve the rocking motion.
HOW DOES THE CRY SENSOR WORK?
The cry sensor operates by listening to sounds, such as crying. When it detects a certain level of sound, typically crying, it will activate the rocking. Upon detecting crying, it will rock the stroller for a duration of 10 minutes. The cry sensor will remain active for a continuous period of 3 hours to provide soothing support when needed.
IF THE LED LIGHT IS FLASHING, HOW MUCH TIME REMAINS UNTIL THE PRODUCT IS DEPLETED?
When the flashing begins, you can expect approximately 2 more hours of usage, contingent upon the chosen frequency.
WHAT IS THE OPTIMUM ROCKING SETTING FOR MY STROLLER
Each stroller or pram has its own ideal rocking setting, which depends on the specific type of stroller and the total weight that needs to be gently rocked. Therefore, please explore and adjust among the five available frequencies to discover the one that works best for your particular stroller and baby’s comfort. Another way to enhance the rocking experience is by extending the handlebar to its maximum length.
CAN I USE THE ROCKER ON A CARSEAT OR HAMMOCK
Yes, you can use the rocker on the carseat or hammock. Please make sure you follow the safety instructions of the carseat and hammock. Never position your baby on elevated surface for risk of falling. Child’s actvity or the rocker can move the carrier. Make sure the product is tightly fixated. Regularly check and look for signs of damage or wear.
CAN YOU I USE THE ROCKER IN THE RAIN?
The product has been tested with an IPX1 rating, indicating its resistance to light rain. However, we strongly recommend that when it starts raining, you remove the rocker and store it in a dry place. Please refrain from exposing it to prolonged or heavy rainfall.
CAN I ATTACH THE ROCKER ANYWHERE?
The product should always be positioned horizontally and should not be attached to the side bar. The ideal placement is on the main handlebar of the stroller. The farther away it is from the wheel base, the more effective the rocking motion will be. For safety, please ensure that the rocker is kept out of your child’s reach, and do not position it directly above your child to prevent any potential hazards.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO KEEP ROBBY RUNNING CONTINUOUSLY?
You cannot have Robby on continuously, as the rocker is programmed to automatically switch off after 40 minutes. However, you have the option to activate the cry sensor. When your child remains restless and cries, the cry sensor will automatically switch on the rocker again for an additional 10 minutes to provide soothing comfort. Note This product is designed to assist your child in achieving a restful sleep and should not be used as a substitute for a caregiver, nor should it be used continuously for an extended period.
IN WHAT TEMPERATURE RANGE IS ROBBY SUITABLE FOR USE?
Robby is suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 30°C to -10°C. However, please be aware that colder temperatures will result in reduced battery life. Note Very high or low temperatures may not be suitable for your child’s well- being, so please refer to the safety guidelines accordingly.
