Outdoor Use and Care
Though Magnet Rocker TM speakers are water-resistant and able to tolerate splashing water, please review the tips below to get the best performance from your speakers:
- Magnet Rocker TM speakers must only be used outdoors with power outlets or extension cords that are rated for outdoor use.
- Bring Magnet Rocker TM speakers indoors during extreme weather.
- Please do not place Magnet Rocker TM speakers in standing water.
- Please do not connect the power adapter to a Magnet Rocker TM speaker in a wet environment. Make sure the power input, power adapter, and power outlet are all completely dry before making any connections.
- WARNING: Keep any non-water-resistant devices (phones, music players, etc.) in a dry place where they will not be affected by water and cause a risk of electric shock.
Setup
The Magnet Rocker TM features a magnetic back panel which allows you to mount
the speaker on metallic surfaces.
Also included are two carabiners to hook or hang your Magnet Rocker TM

Operation
Bluetooth Connecting with Magnet Rocker TM Connecting to one speaker:
- Power on the speaker by holding down the Power button for 2 seconds. Magnet Rocker TM will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Navigate to your device’s Bluetooth setup screen, find Magnet Rocker, and connect. When connected, the Bluetooth LED will be lit solid blue. If voice prompts are enabled, you will hear “Bluetooth Connected”. Tip: We recommend renaming each speaker in your device’s Bluetooth settings so that you can distinguish between the two.
- Press play on your device’s music player. Press the + and – buttons to adjust volume. Press and hold the + or – buttons to navigate Bluetooth tracks.
- To disconnect, press and hold the + and – buttons simultaneously. The LED will go from solid to flashing blue and then off. If voice prompts are enabled, you will hear “Bluetooth Disconnected”.
Stereo-Link speakers: TM : pairing two Magnet Rocker TM
- Power on both Magnet RockerTM speakers.
- Connect to one Magnet Rocker TM speaker using the steps above. This will be the “primary” speaker.
- Be sure to disconnect any Bluetooth devices from the secondary speaker before attempting to connect to the primary speaker.
- Press and hold the + and – buttons on the secondary speaker to link to the primary speaker. The Bluetooth LED will flash blue and then change to solid green to indicate that a connection has been established. If voice prompts are enabled, you will hear “Stereo-Link Mode”. These two speakers will now automatically link the next time both are powered on and in range of one another.
- If you are having trouble linking, disconnect all Bluetooth devices first, and then connect after the speakers have been linked. Tip: Magnet Rocker TM speakers should be within 16’ (5 m) of each other to properly sync. The closer the speakers are, the faster they will sync.
- To break the link between two speakers, press and hold the + and – buttons once to disconnect the Bluetooth device, and then again to de-link the speakers.
Note: Powering off the primary speaker while in Stereo-Link TM mode will also power off the secondary speaker.
Connecting an Audio Player with the Aux Input
- You can also connect an audio player to the Magnet Rocker TM speaker by connecting an aux cable to the audio source and then the speaker’s 1/8” (3.5mm) input. If the speaker is in Bluetooth mode, connecting an aux cable will switch the speaker from Bluetooth to Aux mode. The LED will turn solid white to indicate Aux mode. If voice prompts are turned on, you will hear “Auxiliary Mode”.
- Use the + and – buttons to adjust the speaker’s volume in Aux mode. Note that this volume control is independent of the Aux source’s native volume and volume controls.
- To exit Aux mode, simply disconnect the aux cable and the speaker will revert to Bluetooth mode.
Troubleshooting
If the unit is not charging: Make sure the micro-USB cable is properly
connected to the power input, the power adapter and the power outlet. If the
sound is distorted: Try lowering the volume control of your sound source.
If there is too much bass: Try adjusting the tone or EQ control on your sound
source to lower the bass level. This will allow you to play the music louder
before clipping (distortion) occurs.
If you cannot connect your audio device to Magnet Rocker TM via Bluetooth:
- Have your audio device (e.g., smartphone or tablet) and Magnet Rocker TM speaker as close together as possible while trying to connect. Make sure both the audio device and Magnet Rocker TM Speaker are unobstructed by walls, furniture, etc.
- Reset the Bluetooth connection on Magnet Rocker TM speaker to disconnect Magnet Rocker TM speaker from any other audio device and restart the search process. If this does not work right away, power off Magnet Rocker TM Speaker and then power it back on. See Bluetooth Connecting with Magnet Rocker for more information.
- Reset the Bluetooth connection on your audio device by turning Bluetooth off and back on. You can find this under the Bluetooth menu in the Settings for your phone or other audio device. If this does not work, and you have connected to Magnet Rocker TM TM Speaker before, find Magnet Rocker TM peaker in the list of available or previously connected devices in your audio device’s Bluetooth menu, tap the “gear” or “i” icon located next to it and then select Unpair or Forget this device. Turn Magnet Rocker TM speaker off and back on and try pairing again once it reappears in your available devices list.
Note: If Magnet Rocker TM Speaker has been paired to another audio device
recently that is still within range, you may need to repeat this process with
that audio device to fully disconnect.
If you experience audio dropouts while playing music from a Bluetooth
device , this may be happening because your unit is trying to link to
another speaker. This can occur if you power off a speaker that was linked to
your unit or if you have just turned on your unit and it is in Stereo-Link TM
mode. To stop the audio dropouts, exit Stereo-Link TM mode by doublepressing
the Link button. Alternatively, you can wait for your unit to link to another
Magnet Rocker TM Speaker if there is one within range. If there is a delay in
the audio signal between the left and right speakers when linked, break the
link by double-pressing the Link button, and pair them again following the
instructions in the Stereo-Link TM : pairing two Magnet Rocker TM speakers
section.
If you would like to stop your speaker from automatically linking when you
power it on, make sure you Press and hold the + and – buttons to exit Stereo-
Link TM mode before you power it off.
