GETTING STARTED:

Before first use, carefully remove the air purifier from the box and the plastic packaging. Make sure that all accessories and components of the purifier have been removed before storing or disposing of the packaging materials. Next, make sure the following have been carried out.

– The filter has been removed from the plastic packaging in which it is supplied.
– The voltage to be supplied to the purifier is the same as that indicated on the label.
– The air inlet and outlet are completely unobstructed.
– If the filter cover is not properly attached, the purifier will not function properly. Therefore, make sure that the cover is attached correctly.

CONNECTING A MOBILE DEVICE:

Tuya SmartYou can control the TrueLife Air Purifier P7 Wifi using a mobile device.
Download and install the Tuya Smart app.
Use the app to pair the purifier with your smartphone. Follow the app‘s instructions to continue.

USING THE AIR PURIFIER:

Power button
– This is used to turn the purifier on and off. When pressed, the purifier automatically starts in smart mode.

Timer button
– The timer can be set from 1 to 8 hours. Each time you press the button, it increases the operating time by 1 hour. After the set operating time has elapsed, the air purifier automatically switches off.

Filter reset button
– The filter icon will flash when the filter needs to be replaced (filter replacement is described below). After it has been replaced, hold down the button for 3 seconds. The icon will stop flashing and the filter reset is complete.

UV light button
– The UV light button turns ultraviolet radiation on or off.

Ionization button
– The air purifier automatically turns on the air ionizer. You can turn it off or on again in the application.

  Fan speed button
– Three fan speeds can be set on the air purifier: low, medium and high. Use the fan speed button to toggle between these speeds or set smart or sleep mode.

Note: When switched on, the purifier automatically starts in smart mode.

Smart mode
– If smart mode is set on the air purifier, the purifier regulates the fan speed according to environmental pollution. This means you do not have to set the speed manually; the air purifier will automatically adjust it for you.

Sleep mode
– In sleep mode, the fan operates at a low speed. All lights and backlights are switched off or dimmed to a minimum.

WiFi button
– To pair with a mobile device for the first time, hold down the WiFi button for 3 seconds. When the button starts flashing, the air purifier is ready for pairing. To pair, follow the instructions in the app.

Child lock button
– To lock the control panel, hold down the child lock button.
– To unlock the control panel, hold down the child lock button again.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL AND POLLUTION:

The air quality indicator turns on automatically when the air purifier is started. After approximately 20 seconds, the indicator uses the sensor to select a colour that corresponds to the quality of the ambient air. At the same time, the sensor accurately detects and displays the number of particles smaller than 2.5 micrometres (PM2.5).

MAINTENANCE:

Cleaning
– Always unplug the air purifier from the mains before cleaning.
– Never immerse the air purifier in water or any other liquid.
– Never use aggressive or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the device.
– Never use liquids (or water) to clean the filter.
– Do not attempt to clean the air quality sensor with a vacuum cleaner.
– If you do not intend to use the air purifier for a long time, store it in a dry place.
Air purifier body
– Clean the body of the air purifier regularly inside and outside so that dust does not settle on it. Use a soft, dry or damp cloth to clean the inner and outer plastic parts of the purifier and air outlet.
Air quality sensor
– To ensure the best performance, clean the sensor every two months.
– Clean the sensor using dry cotton buds.
Filter
– Remove the filter from the air purifier, place it on a soft surface and vacuum the filter surface with a brush head.
– Under no circumstances should the filter come into contact with water or any other liquid.

Changing the filter
The filter has a service life of 3600 hours. Replace the filter when the filter icon starts flashing.

  1. Turn off the air purifier and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Carefully remove the side cover. The cover is fastened with clips.
  3. Remove the used filter.
  4. Remove the new filter from the plastic packaging and put it in place.
  5. Replace the back cover. Make sure it is properly attached.
  6. Plug it in to the power source and start the purifier. Press “Reset filter” for 3 seconds until the button stops flashing.
ERROR MESSAGES AND TROUBLESHOOTING:

Below you will find the most common problems you may encounter with the air purifier.
If the problem you are experiencing is not here, contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

Problem Cause Solution

The air purifier cannot be switched on or the control panel is not responding.| Is the air purifier plugged into the mains?| Plug the power cord into the mains.
Is the child lock on?| Hold the UV light button and WiFi button for 3 seconds at the same time
Is the filter cover closed properly?| Put the filter cover on properly.
The air flow is weaker than before.| Is the filter clogged?| Clean the filter.
Is it a long time since the filter was last replaced?| Replace the filter.
Have all packaging materials been removed from the filter?| Remove all packaging materials.
The air coming out of the air purifier smells.| Is the filter clogged?| Clean the filter.
Is it a long time since the filter was last replaced?| Replace the filter
Smart mode is not working.| Is part of the sensor blocked?| Remove the obstacle that is blocking the sensor.
