Retrospec Isup Intelligent Electric Pump

Introduction

The Retrospec iSUP Intelligent Electric Pump features an intelligent 12 volt DC electric pump with a preset pressure LCD screen. With the intelligent pressure system, you preset a pressure value, when a preset pressure is reached, the pump will automatically stop inflating.

Safety Warnings

WARNING

  • Do not use this device for balloons.
  • Keep this product away from children.
  • To prevent tripping, keep the cord visible and in safe surroundings. – If you are standing in water or have wet hands, do not plug in or unplug this device.
  • Remove DC plug from the socket before moving, maintaining, repairing, adjusting, or cleaning this product.
  • To prevent damage by lawnmowers and other power equipment, do not let the cord become obscured by dirt, grass, or debris.

If the pump or its power cord is damaged it must be repaired/replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or similar authorized personnel. Contact Retrospec customer service.

  • Before inflating, check and respect the maximum pressure rating of the product you wish to inflate. Exceeding the maximum pressure may damage the product and cause injury to yourself and those near you.
  • Before using, check the cigarette lighter socket to make sure there is no rust, residue, or obstructions.
    A cigarette lighter socket with poor electrical conduction may cause overheating of the product and/or power source which can damage the product and/or vehicle.

Inflation Operation

  1. Connect Flex-Hose Flexible Conduit Adapter end (11) to the pump Inflation Inlet (1), twist clockwise to tighten (See 1).

  2. Install the other end of FlexHose into the paddleboard air-tap. Insert and twist clockwise to tighten (See 2).
    Tip: It’s not necessary to jam the hose into the air-tap. Insert firmly then wiggle/rock the connector to fully seat the sealing washer inside the air—tap. A little saliva may help to lubricate the washer for a non-binding, flush fit.Retrospec Isup Intelligent Electric- Electric Pump

  3. Plug DC Plug into 12V DC

  4. Press the Pressure Unit Toggle Button to select the desired pressure

  5. Press the Pressure Increase Butto or Pressure Decrease Button to set desired pressure
    NOTE- Pressure range is 0 to 20 PSI (1 PSI = 0.0689BAR).

  6. Press On/Off Button to start inflation.

  7. During inflation, you can press the Pressure Increase Button or Pressure Decrease Button to increase or reduce pressure. Press the Pressure Unit Toggle Button to switch unit of measure. Press On/Off Button to stop.

  8. Press and hold the On/Off Button for 5 seconds to directly start the pump.
    NOTE— When the pressure reaches the preset pressure value, the pump will stop automatically.

  9. After inflation is complete, remove DC Plug from the 12V socket, then remove the Flex-Hose from the paddleboard and pump. Store it.
    NOTE— The factory set pressure value is 10PSI (10PSI=0.689BAR). The pressure value setting at the time of last use will be displayed by default.
    NOTE-After powering on, if not used within 2 minutes, the pump will enter standby mode. Restart the pump by pressing the On/Off Button.

Deflation Operation

  1. Remove the hose from the Inflation Inlet (1) (See 3) twist counterclockwise, then reconnect it to the Deflation Outlet (2), twist clockwise to tighten (See 4).
  2. Attach the other end to the paddleboard air-tap (follow Step 2 & Tip in “Inflation Operation” above). Press the On/Off Button to start the deflation — deflate to desired level or completely. Turn off.

Operating Warnings

WARNING

  • Use only 12V DC power source.
  • Do not leave pump unattended while in use.
  • Do not expose this pump to rain or moisture. Do not immerse in water.
  • To reduce risk, always face Inflation Inlet away from your face and body.
  • Do not use this product when the hose is damaged — repair or replace immediately.
  • Do not block the Inflation Inlet (1) and Deflation Outlet (2), keep both unobstructed at all times.
  • Observe local e-waste laws and provisions — it is against the law to dispose of this pump randomly.
  • Do not use this air pump if any part is damaged, use only authorized service professionals for repair.
  • Never remove the hose during inflation, the high pressure may harm yourself, those near you, or the paddleboard.
  • Do not exceed 20 minutes of continuous run time, exceeding this time may cause overheating and internal damage to the motor. Cool for TO minutes before next use.
  • Make sure your vehicle is running while using this pump to prevent damage to vehicle, and charging system — battery.
  • Make sure your vehicle transmission is in Park and emergency brake(s) set.

2. The joint between the hose and air pump or air bag is not installed properly.|

1. Clear hose blockage. Repair/replace damaged hose. 2 Reinstall the hose.
3 If the problem persists, contact local service professionals or similar authorized personnel for servicing.

Storage/Cleaning

Always remove DC plug from the socket for storage. Always cool completely before storage. Store in a cool. dry, and ventilated place. Clean with a dry. soft towel only. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.

Warranty

Retrospec warrants this product to be free from defective materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of original purchase. Use of non-original parts and accessories will void warranty.
