NOTES

  1. Poncho is worked in one piece, back and forth in rows, beginning at the lower back edge. At the shoulders, the neck opening is shaped. The front is then worked from shoulders down to the lower front edge. Poncho is worked in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with simple eyelet edging and Double Eyelet Twist pattern worked at beg and end of rows.
  2. Double Eyelet Twist pattern can be worked following written instructions or Charts. When working from the chart, read RS rows of the chart from right to left and WS rows from left to right.
  3. A circular needle is used to accommodate the number of sts. Work back and forth on circular needles as if working with straight needles.
  4. When you see ‘work in patterns as established’ in the instructions, this means to work the next row of the patterns, lining up sts as in previous rows.
