Redmi Smart Band Pro User Manual

Product Overview

Charging the Band

Charge the band before using it for the first time. The band will automatically turn on when charging.

1. Hold the charging connector close to the contact points on the back of the band, and then the charging connector will magnetically attach to the contact points of the band.
2. Connect the USB connector of the charging cable to a standard adapter purchased from a qualified manufacturer at an output voltage of 5 V or higher.
3. The screen of the band will light up and show the charging icon.

Notes:

• If the band is not used for a long period of time, the battery will be depleted. Charge the band for
  about one minute, and then the charging icon will be displayed.

• Wipe the band’s contact points clean before charging so as to avoid residual sweat or moisture.

Connecting the Band

Download and install the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app to better manage your band, and log in to your Mi account for more services.

1. Turn on the band, and use your phone to scan the QR code on the screen to download and install the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app.
   You can also download and install the app from the app stores, or scan the QR code on the right.
   Note: The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version.

   Scan the QR code, and download the proper app version according to your phone’s system.
   Android Device: Xiaomi Wear App
   iOS Device: Xiaomi Wear Lite App

2. Open the Xiaomi Wear/Xiaomi Wear Lite app, and log in to your Mi account. Select the band to be added and follow the instructions to pair it with your phone.
   Notes:
   • Make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is enabled and the band is well connected with your phone.
   • During pairing, make sure the identical pairing code is displayed on both the phone and the band.
   • If the pairing code appears on the band but not on the phone, please check whether there is a pairing request in the notifications of the phone.

How to Use

You can press and hold, tap, and swipe on the screen to complete different operations.

Wearing the Band

For daily use, comfortably tighten the band around your wrist about one finger width away from your wrist bone. Adjust the strap to ensure the heart rate sensor can collect data normally.
Note: Wearing the band too loosely may impact the data collection by the heart rate sensor.

To make sure the strap and band fit your wrist perfectly, adjust the position of the buckle based on the circumference of your wrist.

Disassembling/Assembling the strap

1. Press and hold the strap’s quick-release button and gently pull the strap to remove it.
2. Insert the quick-release button into the strap until you hear a click, and then the strap is installed. You can pull the strap to see if it is installed securely.

Safety Precautions

• When using the band to measure your heart rate, please hold your wrist still.

• The band has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM. However, this function is not permanent and may decline over time. The band can be worn in the cold shower, swimming pool, or while swimming near the shore. However, it cannot be used in a sauna or while scuba diving.

• The screen of the band does not support underwater operations. When the band comes into contact with water, use a soft cloth to wipe away excess water from its surface before use.

• During daily use, avoid wearing the band too tightly. Keep its contact area dry and regularly clean the strap with water. Immediately stop using the band and seek medical assistance if the contact area on your skin shows signs of redness or swelling. Due to friction, wearing the band for a long time during high-intensity exercise may cause skin irritation. If this is the case, please stop wearing the band.

• Use the included charging cable to charge the band. Only use a certified power adapter supplied by qualified manufacturers.

• Always keep the power adapter and charging cable dry when charging the band. Do not touch them with a wet hand. Never expose the power adapter, charging cable, and band to rain, or evenimmerse them into liquids.

• The operating temperature of the band is -10°C to 45°C, and the storage temperature is -30°C to
  0°C. If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, the band may malfunction.

• This band is equipped with a built-in battery that cannot be removed. Do not disassemble the band. Do not expose batteries or battery packs to sunlight, fire, or environments where the ambient temperature is extreme heat. There is a risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly installed, therefore only use and replace with the same or an equivalent type of battery.

• Do not disassemble, strike or crush the battery. Stop using the battery immediately if there is any swelling or fluid leakage.

• Never throw the band or its battery into the fire so as to avoid an explosion.

• This band is not a medical device, any data or information provided by the band should not be used as a basis for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

• The band and its accessories may contain small parts. To avoid choking or other hazards to children, or damages caused by children, keep the band and its accessories out of the reach of children.

• This band is not a toy and should only be used by children under adult supervision.
