because proper installation is essential so that the product works

Assembly and installation
Attach a connecting plate (plastic or metal, according to your needs) to the main body by inserting the round hole in the connecting plate lock.
Note: to release the plate, press the lock and slide the plate towards the back of the main body.
Adjust the metal plate length by pushing the moving part.
Optionally, you can remove the 3M glue tape to fix it in a more permanent
position.
Hint: check that the plate or suction pads aren’t blocking any air exhausts under your computer.
Select a rubber sleeve that fully covers your laptop’s exhaust port and attach the sleeve to the suction port on the KLIM Tempest.
Place the suction port with the sleeve against your laptop’s exhaust port, ensuring a proper seal.
Turn the clamp arms until they are facing forward and lift them above the computer to fix the cooler in place. The computer thickness must be between 13 and 27 mm for this attachment system to work.

Operating the cooler
Connect the laptop cooler to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
Automatic mode
Press the ON/M button to turn on the KLIM Tempest. The device enters Automatic Mode (AT) by default. In this mode, it automatically detects the air temperature coming off your computer and adjust the fan speed automatically. The cooler switches off when temperature is lower than 35 °C and works at full capacity when it reaches 50 °C.
Note: press and hold the ON/M button to switch the display mode between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
Manual mode
Press the ON/M button while in Automatic Mode to switch to Manual Mode (MT).
The default fan speed is 7 (out of 13 levels).
Press the + / – buttons to adjust the fan speed. The LCD display briefly shows
the speed level while adjusting it.
Hint: adjust the fan speed to find the perfect balance between noise and cooling.
Shutdown
Press the ON/M button while in Manual mode to switch off the cooler.

Q: The device makes too much noise
A: This can be normal in cases of excessive temperature (where the fan is spinning at maximum speed). If you hear any rattling sounds, a foreign object may have been lodged inside the product. Please contact us so we can help you solve this issue.
Q: The laptop cooler does not turn on
A: Check that the cable is in good condition and connected properly. If available, you can try on a different port on your computer, or with another compatible cable.
Q: The cooler turns on but the fan does not start
A: This can be normal if the device is in automatic mode (AT) and not detecting high temperature. Press the ON/M button to enter Manual mode (MT) and select your desired speed using the + and – buttons. If the fan does not work in Manual Mode, please contact us.
