Overview

An IP camera (hereinafter referred to as IPC) is a new product integrating network video technologies into a traditional camera. The IPC can realize simpler monitoring (particularly remote monitoring), easier construction and maintenance, better audio and alarm linkage, more flexible record storage, more enriched product selection, much clearer video effect, and more perfect monitoring management. In addition, the IPC supports access by WiFi, 3G/4G/5G and optical fiber, and PoE (Power over Ethernet, or network power supply).

With the rapid development of network, network products have gradually spread to every corner of our life. The developing and innovative IPC has been widely applied to the education, commerce, medical treatment, public services, and other fields.

Common audio and video cameras used at the places such as banks, supermarkets, companies, residences, and households have gradually replaced by IPCs whose videos can be uploaded to the network. You can view public or private real- time pictures or dynamic videos at home or any place where network is available.

How to download and use the Smartphone APP?

Download and Install

Go to Apple Store or Google Play, search “Seetong”, and then download and install it.

Or you can scan this two-dimension code to download it.

Open the APP and add a camera via Hotspot.

1. 1. Open the camera and click “Register”, and then input your email address and click “Send auth code”.

2. Get the code from your email and input the code in the app and set a password for your account.
   

3. Go back to the login in page, and input your email account and the password, and click “Login” to login the app.
   

4. Connect the camera with power supply to power on the camera, and click “+” and click “Add WIFI device”.
   

5. Click “Add my device (AP mode)” and click “hear waiting to configure the tone”.
   

6. Input your WIFI information (name and password) and click “next step” and then click “Go WIFI”.
   

7. Click the reset button of the camera (in the camera cable) for three times and it will emit the Hotspot (AP_TST_XXXXXX). Choose and connect with the Hotspot signal of the camera, and then go back to the app, the app will start binding with the camera.
   

8. After few seconds, the camera will bind successfully with the app, input a device name or choose a commonly used name for the camera, and click “Start the experience”.
   

9. Click the camera that you just add, and you can get the image of the camera now.
   

Add a camera via directly network connection.

1. If you fail to connect the camera with the above method, you can follow this method. Power on the camera and connect the camera with the router via the network cable. Click “Add WIFI device” and click “Wire Direct Addition”.
   

2. Click “next step” and click “Research” to search the camera.

3. Click the camera that it find and click “Finish”.
   

4. Then you can connect with the camera now, and then set the WIFI function for the camera. Click the setting button of the camera in the upper right corner. And then click “Advanced Setting”.
   

5. Click “Network setting” and choose your WIFI signal, input the password for it and click ok
   

6. After the WIFI set, click “OK”, the camera will restart, and you can disconnect the network cable of the camera and then wait for about 30 seconds, then you can check the camera again and it will online via WIFI connection.

Other common function

Record function

1. Insert a SD card into the camera, click the setting button of the camera in the upper right corner. And then click “Record setting”.
   

2. It will show you the SD card status, if it is not normal, you can click “SD Card format” to format the SD card.
   

Motion record

1. Insert a SD card into the camera, click the setting button of the camera in the upper right corner. And then click “Alarm setting”.
   

2. Enable the alarm (If you need alarm push, you can also enable it), and then click “Save”. Then go back to the setting menu and click “Record setting”.
   

3. Choose the “Motion record” and click “Save”, then the camera will record only when it detect the motion.

Sharing function

1. Click the Sharing button and click “Share”.
   

2. Share the QR code to your friend and click the QR code Scan button to scan the QR code, then your friend can check the image of your camera now.
   

How to connect the camera with computer?

Install the Seetong computer software.

1. Download the Seetong” software.
2. Un-compress and install the software, please choose English language.
   

Connecting

1. Open the Seetong software, default user name “admin”, default password “123456”, then click “Login” to login the Seetong software.

2. When you open the software for first time, it will auto search and connect with the devices in the LAN.
   
   

3. If it do not connect automatically, you need to connect yourself. Click “Device Management”, click “Start Searching” and click the camera that it find and then click “Add device”.
   

4. Go back to the “Main View”, double click the camera and you can get the image of the camera now.

Note: Default user name is “admin”, password “123456”, you can change it via Seetong computer software.
