Introduction
The 1080p HDMI CAT Extender with Loopout -50m extends high definition 1080p HDMI signals from a source device to a display device up to 164ft (50m) using an economical CAT cable.

Installation Requirements
- HDMI source device (computer, DVD player, XBOX, PS3, etc)
- HDMI display device (SDTV/Monitor, HDTV/Monitor, projector, etc.)
- UTP/STP CAT5e/6 cable following IEEE-568B wiring standard
Product Layout
- RJ45 Out: Connects to the Receiver’s RJ45 In using a CAT cable. The green LED lights up when powered on. The yellow LED lights up when linked properly to the Receiver
- IR In: Connects to the included IR Receiver cable
- IR Out: Connects to the included IR Blaster cable
- HDMI Out: Connects to your HDMI display for local monitoring of the extended display
- HDMI In: Connects to your HDMI source device
- Power Jack: Connects to the included power adapter
- Reset: Reset the Transmitter
1. RJ45 In: Connects to the Transmitter’s RJ45 Out using a CAT cable. The
green LED lights up when powered on. The yellow LED lights up when linked
properly to the Transmitter
2. IR In: Connects to the included IR Receiver cable
3. IR Out: Connects to the included IR Blaster cable
4. HDMI Out: Connects to your HDMI display for local monitoring of the
extended display
5. Power Jack: Connects to the included power adapter
6. EQ Setting: Press this button to improve the video signal quality
Hardware Installation
- Power off all devices including your HDMI source and HDMI display(s).
- Connect your HDMI source device to the Transmitter’s HDMI In connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
- Optional: Connect a HDMI display to the Transmitter’s HDMI Out connector with an HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included) for local monitoring of the HDMI signal.
- Optional: Connect the IR Blaster Cable and IR Receiver Cable. Face the IR eye towards your device’s IR window. This connection is needed only if you need to control your HDMI device from the remote location. Please see the Connection Diagram on page 8 for proper connection.
- Plug your CAT cable between the Transmitter’s RJ45 Out and Receiver’s RJ45 In.
- Connect your HDMI display to the Receiver’s HDMI Out connector with a HDMI cable (HDMI cable not included).
- Plug the included power adapters into the Transmitter’s and Receiver’s power jacks, then plug both power adapters into a reliable power source.
- Power on all connected devices.
- The HDMI extender is ready for use.
Connection Diagram
FAQ & Solutions
Q: There is no video output or audio and video display is not normal:
A : 1) Press the Receiver’s EQ button.
2) Use a shorter network cable.
Q: The Receiver’s Link LED is flashing:
A: 1) Make sure the network cable follows the IEEE-568B wiring standard.
2) Check whether TX has HDMI signal input.
3) Reset the TX and reconnect.
4) Press the EQ button on the RX.
Q: The extender is not working properly:
A: 1) Please check the cable lengths below:
– HDMI cables: Up to 5m
– Network cable: Up to 50m
2) Press the reset button on the TX and reconnect.
Q: RX Link LED is on but there is no image:
A: 1) Press RX EQ button to reset the unit.
2) Make sure the HDMI cable is firmly connected to the display.
3) Use a higher quality network cable.
