• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

Startup and Operation

Warning

• Connect the product only to a socket that has been approved for the device. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
• Disconnect the product from the network using the power button –ifthis is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
• When using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the sum power draw of all the connected devices does not exceed its maximum throughput rating.
• If you will not be using the product for a long period of time, disconnect it from mains power. Connect the antenna’s power supply unit to a socket and connect the antenna cable to the TV (Pic. 1a).
• If you’re using an external DVB-Receiver, connect the antenna to the socket and the DVB-Receiver (Pic. 1b).
• Connect the DVB-Receiver to the TV (observe the operating instructions for your set-top box).
• Insert the base into the appropriate slots on the back of the antenna (Pic. 2).
• Setting up the antenna manually allows you to optimize the reception of the TV stations you receive.
• Depending on the reception area, the stations may be broadcast vertically or horizontally.
• The antenna must be positioned accordingly.
• Switch off the antenna when it is not in use.

Radio reception:

• The antenna can also be used for FM reception.
• As most audio devices have an IEC connection, please use a coax socket-coax socket adapter (not included).

Note

• Please note that the number and quality of stations received may vary depending on the position of the antenna and local conditions.
• If the connected DVB-Treceiver supplies +5 Viva the antenna output, no power supply unit is required as the antenna can be remotely powered by the antenna connection.

Care and Maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Note
Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning it or if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
