Troubleshooting Tips

  • Serious stroboscopic picture showing in live view. It is mainly caused by different AC frequencies, which you can solve by changing the AC frequency in the App settings-Picture/View.
  • Device is offline in the device list? Check the quality of the device network and see if it is good or not. If you already inserted a TF card, please unplug the TF card, and reset the device and router. Check whether the device is online or not. If the problem still exists, please reset the device and pair it to the APP again. After that, check the device firmware and App version and upgrade them to the latest updated version.
  • What to do if the device is offline after changing a router or WiFi password? Please reset the device and pair it to the APP again.
  • Cannot check video playbacks. Remove the TF card, reinsert the card into the slot again and then make sure the recording mode is ON. If there are still no video recordings, please go to “Settings,” click on “Record settings,” disable “Record switch,” and format the TF card. If the problem persists, please try inserting a new TF card.
  • The light stays on for a long time after motion is detected. Adjust Light -> Time-Delay Duration to shorten the time.
  • Motion detection doesn’t work consistently. Each detection requires about 60s of cooling time, otherwise it won’t be detected.
