Installation

Follow these steps to install the WIWAV 8 Port industrial ethernet switch:

1. Choose a suitable location for the switch, ensuring proper ventilation and protection from harsh conditions.
2. Mount the switch using the provided metal brackets. You can choose between DIN and multi-mounting options.
3. Connect your network devices to the RJ45 sockets usingappropriate Ethernet cables.
4. Ensure that the power supply is connected to the switch.

Operation

The WIWAV 8 Port industrial ethernet switch operates in a plug-and-play manner with little to no configuration required. Simply follow these steps:

1. Power on the switch by connecting it to a power source.
2. The LED display will indicate the device status and port activity.
3. Verify that your network devices are connected to the appropriate ports.
4. The switch will automatically negotiate the speed (10/100/1000Mbps or 10/100Mbps) and duplex mode (full/half) for each connected device.
