WYZELS1 Lamp Socket
IN THE BOX
This is an expansion kit. You need to have a starter bundle or install a Wyze Cam v3 together with this lamp socket to be able to control this socket from the Wyze app.
GET STARTED
If you are installing Wyze Lamp Socket for the first time, please follow the
next steps to install it.
If you have already installed a Wyze Lamp Socket at this location, you can
repeat steps 3, 4, and 6 to install the expansion.

Download the Wyze app and sign in or create an account.

Check WiFi Signal Strength
- Connect your phone to your 2.4 GHz network. Do not use your phone’s data connection.
- Move your phone to where you’ll install the Wyze Cam v3 to check your WiFi’s signal strength.

Before going further, cut the power to your lamp socket and unscrew the existing light bulb.

Screw the light bulb into the E26 base of the lamp socket. Note: Only bulbs with < 30 W can be used.

Open the dust cover and plug in the USB cable.
Note: Please use the USB cable included in this package. Do NOT use original Wyze Cam v3 cable. -
Screw your Wyze Lamp Socket into the E26 base and position your USB cable.

Plan the route to run the USB cable to the place you want to position the your Wyze Cam v3. You can use USB cable clips to route your USB cable. You can use tape or screws to secure the clips. If you want to use tape, please remove the protective film at the back of the clip and press it firmly to the wall. Wait for 10 minutes before putting the cable inside the clip. If you want to anchor the cable clips using screws, please first drill a hole on the wall using 4.0 drill bit. Then insert and insert the anchor into the hole. Screw the clip onto the wall.

Connect the USB cable to the your Wyze Cam v3. Make sure it is connected securely.

Place the USB cable in the USB cable clip.

After connecting the wires, restore power to the lamp socket. The light bulb will turn on and your Wyze Cam’s status light will flash red.

Stick the sticker next to the switch to avoid switching the light off accidentally.

Installation complete! You can now control your new lamp socket with your Wyze Cam v3.
DEVICE NETWORKING
- Lamp sockets that you want to group together should be within 82 feet of the socket with the camera. When Wyze Cam v3 is connected to a Wyze Lamp Socket, it can control up to 4 nearby Wyze Lamp Sockets within 82 feet.
- If installing multiple Wyze Lamp Sockets, turn them on within 30 seconds of each other to group them together.
- Use the Wyze app to manage your lamp socket’s settings.
BASIC OPERATION
Setup
In the Wyze app, open your Wyze Cam v3. If installed properly, your Wyze Lamp
Socket will be automatically added as an accessory.
Secondary lamp sockets must be installed within 82 feet of the primary lamp
socket to be grouped together.
In your Wyze Cam v3 Settings, open Accessories > Lamp Socket to adjust your
lamp socket settings.
Daily use
Daily use the AUTO | On | Off functions in the Wyze app to control when the
lamp socket turns on and off.
Each grouped lamp socket will update with your changes.
AUTO: Select Always for the lamp socket to turn on automatically when it
is dark. Select Motion is detected by camera for it to turn on when the camera
detects movement in low ambient light.
On: Turns the lamp socket on.
Off: Turns the lamp socket off.

ATTENTION:
- Before installing, turn off the power to the light fixture. Do not touch the metal components of the lamp.
- Make sure your lamp socket output is 120V.
- This product is not waterproof and must be used with an enclosure.

To satisfy FCC / IC RF exposure requirements, a separation distance of 20 cm
or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and persons
during device operation. To ensure compliance, operations at closer than this
distance is not recommended.
Region Selection
Limited by local law regulations, version for North America does not have
region selection option.
