DJI MIC User Guide

Introduction

DJI MIC is the dual-channel wireless microphone system, including two transmitters and one receiver, which is able to record two sound sources simultaneously. The transmitter has a built-in microphone and can be clipped to clothing or anyplace close to a sound source. The provided charging case can charge the transmitters and receiver simultaneously.

DJI MIC Transmitter

  1.  System Status LED Indicates the battery level of the transmitter and the connection status with the receiver.

  2. Charging and Data Port (USB-C) For charging and transmitting data with the computer.

  3. Power Button Press and hold to power on/off, press twice to mute.

  4. Built-in Microphone

  5. 3.5 mm TRS Input

  6. Recording Status LED
    The LED is solid red when recording audio and is off when is not recording.

  7. Linking Button
    Press and hold to start linking. Press once to control shooting after connecting with the mobile phone.

  8. Record Button
    Press once to start/stop recording.

  9. Charging Dot
    Connect with the charging dot in the charging case to begin charging.

DJI MIC Receiver

  1. Touchscreen Displays the gain, wireless signal, battery level, record status, channel, and etc. Swipe down or up from the touchscreen to access settings.

  2. Power Button Press and hold to power on/off.

  3. Charging and Data Port (USB-C) For charging and firmware updating.

  4. Headphone Port Monitor the sound input of the transmitter using a headphone.

  5. 3.5 mm TRS Output

  6. Expansion Port
    Attach the receiver to the mobile phone via the expansion port using a phone connector, and attach the receiver to a camera using an L adapter via the expansion port and the TRS cable.

  7. Charging Dot
    Connect with the charging dot in the charging case to begin charging.

Charging Case

  1. USB-C Port
    Charge the charging case via the USB-C port.

  2. Battery Level Indicators Indicates the charging status.

  1. DJI™ MIC contains magnets. Keep the camera away from mag cards, IC cards, hard disks, RAM chips, implantable medical devices such as pacemakers, and other devices to avoid interference.
  2. DO NOT listen at a high volume for an extended period using monitor earphones. Otherwise, you may experience possible hearing damage.
  3. DO NOT allow the product to come into contact with any kind of liquid. DO NOT leave the product out in the rain or near a source of moisture. DO NOT drop the product into water. If the inside of the battery comes into contact with water, chemical decomposition may occur, potentially resulting in the battery catching on fire, and may even lead to an explosion.
  4. Put out any product fire using water, sand, fire blanket, or a dry powder fire extinguisher.
  5. The product should be used in temperatures from -10º to 45º C (14° to 113° F). The use of the product in environments above 45º C (113° F) can lead to a fire or explosion. Use of the product below -10º C (14° F) can lead to permanent damage.
  6. Never disassemble or pierce the product in any way or the battery may leak, catch fire, or explode.
  7.  DO NOT drop or strike the product. DO NOT place heavy objects on the product.
  8.  DO NOT heat the product. DO NOT put the product in a microwave oven or in a pressurized container.
  9.  DO NOT leave the product near heat sources such as a furnace or heater. DO NOT leave the product inside of a vehicle on hot days. The ideal storage temperature is 22º C to 28º C (72° to 82° F).
  10. DO NOT store the product fully discharged for an extended period. Otherwise, it will over-discharge, which will lead to permanent damage.

Environmentally-friendly disposal
Old electrical appliances must not be disposed of together with the residual waste, but have to be disposed of separately.
