Nugent Mini PC

Connecting
- Turn on a TV or monitor and change the video output to be HD.
- Connect the Pocket PC to the HD port of a TV or monitor.
- Connect the power adapter to a power socket and the other end to the DC port of the Pocket PC.
- Then the device starts and the LED light turns on.
Power ON
Press the ‘Power’ button for 3 seconds, and the LED light turns blue After
30-40 seconds, you will see the screen of Windows 10.
Power OFF
If you want to shut down the unit, please do not unplug the power adapter
directly. Just shut it down In a traditional PC’s way.
Enter BIOS
When ‘Power ON” and start this mini PC. Press the “Esc” button for 10 seconds
to enter BIOS.
WIfi
When Pocket PC starts, you can connect it to the Internet via Wifi:
- Select Wifi.
- Select your network.
- Input with a password.
Once you are connected to the network, wait a moment for your IP address to be
assigned. Open a web browser and try to connect to a website.
Bluetooth
To connect to a Bluetooth device:
- From the homepage, click on Settings, then on Other. then on More settings, then Bluetooth, and turn Bluetooth ON.
- Click “Not visible to other Bluetooth devices”. The menu will turn to “Visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices, and a 2-minute countdown will begin.
- Select the target device within 2 minutes and It will be connected automatically. Some devices require a pairing code (usually 0000 or 1234).
Use the MicroSD Card port
pocket PC that supports TF card size up to 128 GB.
Note: TF card is not included.
Pocket PC
Install a security cable loop in the security opening on the edge of the
Pocket PC. The security opening is 3 mm x 3 mm.
Note: Security cable loop is not included. You can build one using a
length of quality wire rope that is less than 3 mm. Insert the rope through
the security opening and then crimp the ends together with a cable sleeve.
USB
Plug U disk in the USB port for high-speed data transfer.
VIDEO
Connect this Pocket PC to a TV or monitor to enjoy HD video.
Others
Windows Update In the Windows Update section, you’ll find (almost) everything
you need to update Windows 10. At the top of the screen, you’ll see a status
message that tells you whether your computer is up to date, and when it last
checked for updates. For more update options, click Advanced options.
Windows Defender
Windows Defender also has a dace in the Update 8 security tab (though it
hasn’t been banished from the Control Panel like Windows Update has). In this
section, you can tum on different Windows Defender options, including regime
protection, cloud-based protection, and automatic sample submission.
Windows Backup
In the Backup section you can set your backup settings: Add an external drive
for backup, or click More options to see Advanced settings (this will take you
to the File History window in the Control Panel).
Recovery
The Recovery section offers three options to help you fix your computer. Reset
this PC, which will let you reinstall Windows without removing your files; Go
back to an earlier build, which will let you go back to an earlier build of
Windows (this will let you uninstall updates — you can only go back to a
previous version of Windows within the first month of upgrading); and Advanced
startup. which restarts your PC so you can restore Windows from a system
image, USB drive, or disc.
Activation
You can now activate Windows 10 using a Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 product key,
which means you can do a dean installation of Windows 10 and still receive the
free upgrade promised to older Windows users. To activate your copy of Windows
10, go to the Activation section and click Change product key, or dick Go to
Store if you’d like to purchase a different edition of Windows.
For developers
The For developers section is designed for developers — people making apps and
programs for Windows 10. That doesn’t mean you won’t use it, however. If you
want to sideload apps. for example, you’ll need to go into this section to tum
that features on.
Start the Device the First Time
The first time you start the device, Windows 10 guides you through the
following steps:
- Select your region and language.
- Accept the Windows license terms.
- Personalize Windows and assign a PC Name.
- ‘Get Online’ dialog to pick a wireless network (this step is optional).
- Choose Express Settings or Customize.
- Assign a user name and password.
- Finished.
