Thank you very much for purchasing this KDK product.
Before operating this product, please read the instructions carefully, and
save this manual for future use.
This product is for indoor use only.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the
guard.
The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided: JPES-
0004D-C4126

To avoid the possibility of causing injury to users, endangering the life or
damage to properties, please follow all the instructions written below.

Before Use
WARNING

Never try to take apart, repair or modify this product.
Improper use usually cause electric shock, fire or injury. -
Contact the service center or distributor for repairing this product.

Always use with the supplied AC adaptordo not exchange to other AC adaptor in order to avoid damage to the product.
May occur and cause fire or electric shock. -
If you need to replace AC adaptor, please contact the service center or distributor.

Please do not turn on the product unless blade, front guard and rear guard are installed properly.
It may cause injury. -
Do not adjust the height when the front and rear guards have not yet been assembled and positioned, because the motor part will suddenly rise and cause danger.
The motor part or the slide pipe may fly out and cause injury. -
Do not cut or modify the power cord or plug. Do not damage, process, put near heating appliances, forcefully bend, twist, pull, put anything heavy on, or bundle the power cord.
If it is still used after being damaged, it will often cause electric shock, electric leakage or fire. -
Make sure the power plug of AC adaptor is fully inserted into the socket.
May cause fire or electric shock due to overheat. -
Do not exceed the rated current of the power socket and wiring equipment when using it.
Do not use a multi-connector patch panel or extension cord to avoid electric shock, heat generation or fire by exceeding the rated current. -
Do not immerse the product in water, or put water on it.
It may cause fire or electric shock due to short circuit.

Make sure to disconnect the power plug when maintenance and storing away the product.
Injury or electric shock may occur due to inadvertent operation. -
Disconnect the power plug and wipe it with a dry cloth.

Disconnect the power plug unless the product is being use.

Wipe off dust on the power plug periodically.
Dust and humid air etc. may cause poor insulation and fire. -

When using the product after it is stored for a while, please check whether the front and rear guards, the shells and the power cord are damaged, and clean the dust on the machine. After the inspection, please carry out a trial operation.

Do not use it in the following places.

Gas barrels or near a fire, places with flammable gas, or highly humid environments.
A tongue of flame may cause an explosion or short circuit, and result in a fire or electric shock. -
Do not put your fingers into the guard or any moving part or the product. Do not extend a stick into the fan guard to stop the blade from turning.
It may cause injury. -
Do not use the product near the obstacles or unsafe, uneven places.
The product may fall down and cause injury. -
When unplugging the power plug, please hold the power plug with your hand and do not pull the wire; when the power is on, do not pull the power cord upwards forcefully to avoid friction between the power cord and the machine.
The wires may be shorted or broken and cause fire or electric shock. -
Do not expose yourself to wind generated by the product for a long time.
It may cause health related issue. -
Do not place objects or ride on the product.
The product may fall down and cause injury. -
Do not use volatile solvents (gasoline, lacquer thinner…), alkaline soapy water, hot water, etc. to wipe the machine.
Cracks of the blade may occur and it may cause injury. Change of properties or color of plastic parts may occur. Falling parts may cause injury.
Notice:
Do not spray insecticides on it or use it in places with oils or medicines.
(It may cause product deterioration or damage.)
The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the
appliance.
The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding
to the marking on the appliance.
Name of parts
The diagram is for reference only; the actual product shall prevail.
How to assemble
Installing the stand
- Lay the center pipe sideways and remove the nut.
- Align the front base hook with the groove of the center pipe.
- Then assemble the base in the direction of the arrow.
- Finally, lock and screw the nut from the bottom of the base, and place the assembled body upright to assemble the blade.
Reminder: Tighten the nut securely, to avoid it is loosened while in use.
Installing the blade
Please follow the step order and install correctly before use

Remove the spinner, cap and guard stopper nut
Please keep the plastic cap for storage use. -
Fix the rear guard to the motor and then tighten the guard stopper nut securely
Align each of 3 holes and 3 projections, then fix the rear guard to the motor, tighten the guard stopper nut securely (clockwise direction), marks the arrowhead of the rear guard points up. -
Installing the blade
Insert the blade into the motor shaft closely, then tighten with spinner securely. (anti-clockwise direction) -
Installing the front guard
• Align the clips of the front guard with the “matching mark” on the rear guard.
• Engage the clip to fix the front and rear guard.
• Engage the clip press backward and upward.
• This product belongs to double insulation, please assemble the clip properly to ensure your safety.
Reminder: • Tighten every part securely to avoid the blade from coming out during the operation.
• This product belongs to double insulation. Please assemble the guard properly to ensure your safety. Make sure the clip pressed in before start the operation.
Connecting the AC Adapter
Insert the adapter plug into the connector on the back of the base firmly so
that the cord can extends toward to right or left direction.Do not direct the cord lead-out part from the
fan toward upward or downward.
Doing so may result in damage or in the product falling over.
※Do not place
excessive force on the adapter connection part. Doing so may damage the
product.
※Be sure to use the dedicated AC adapter. Failure to do so may damage the
product.
Height adjustment
The height required by the fan can be adjusted. First hold the slide pipe
with one hand tightly and lightly press it down. At the same time, press the
height adjustment button with the other hand. Adjust it to an appropriate
height, then release the height adjustment button. Wind direction adjustment
Whether during the auto swing mode or not, the wind direction can be
adjusted by hand. Reminder:
The swing speed will change relatively with the air volume; large air volume
for fast swing, and small air volume for slow swing. Horizontal adjustment
Adjust the desired angle by oscillating to left and right. Vertical adjustment
Adjust the desired angle by oscillating to up and down. Control Panel
POWER OFF/ON
button
Turn on or turn off with the button pressed.

When plug in and turn on by pressing “POWER OFF/ON” button, the fan starts operation at the fourth level.
Memory function: -
When turning on the fan, it starts operation at previous setting, but timer setting cannot resume.
-
Memory will be deleted when unplugged.
TIMER button
Each press of the button will switch to next timer setting (accumulated) and
the lamp would turn on.The fan stops operation when the preset hours has passed.
- The lamp will be displayed in decreasing order of time.
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to turn the lamp on / off.
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to turn off the LED indicator (lamp
turn off).
- At this time, press any function button and the LED indicator lamp would turn on; if no function button is further pressed in 10 seconds, the LED indicator lamp would turn off again.
Press and hold this button for 3 seconds again to turn on the LED indicator
(lamp turn on).
SPEED button
Each press of the button will switch to next air volume setting (accumulated)
and the lamp would turn on. NATURAL button
- NATURAL: Air volume changes automatically. (Natural mode lamp would turn on)
Reminder: Turn on the fan by pressing “POWER OFF/ON” button before you
use the other buttons.
Tips: The brightness of the lamp displayed on the control panel of the
machine will automatically decrease 10 seconds after the operation is
completed.
When any button is pressed again, the indicator lamp will return to the
original brightness.
Maintenance and storing
WARNING:
Make sure to turn off the power and disconnect the power plug when cleaning
the product.
Injury or electric shock may occur due to inadvertent operation.
WARNING:
Do not splash water on it when wiping.
It may cause fire or electric shock due to short circuit.

To prevent the risk of electric shock, please disconnect the power plug before cleaning.

In order to increase the efficiency and safety of the machine, please regularly maintain and clean the cooling holes on the rear shell.

When disassembling, maintaining or cleaning the front guard, blade and rear guard, please disassemble them in the reverse order of assembly. See page 6~9 of the instructions.

For the maintenance of the blade and main body, please use a soft cloth dampened with warm water or neutral detergent to wipe them clean, and then dry them with a dry cloth.
CAUTION
Do not use volatile solvents (gasoline, lacquer thinner…), alkaline soapy water, hot water, etc. to wipe the machine.
Cracks of the blade may occur and it may cause injury. Change of properties or color of plastic parts may occur. Falling parts may cause injury. -
After the motor shaft is wiped clean, in order to prevent rust, please apply lubricating oil on it and store it in a place with lower humidity.

Storing
• Please put the plastic cover on the motor shaft when storing it to prevent the motor shaft from rusting.
• When storing, please follow the original assembly steps, disassemble it in the reverse order of assembly, put it back in the original box, and keep it in a dry and cool place.
Emergency handling
WARNING
-
When a failure or malfunction occurs (sometimes it cannot run after the button is pressed, the blade rotates slowly or irregularly, the motor part is abnormally hot or has a burning smell, etc.), stop using the product and unplug the power plug. If not, overheat may occur and cause fire and electric shock.
Contact the service centre or distributor. -
Do not repair or replace the power cord by yourself.
Improper repair usually cause fire and electric shock.
Contact the the service center or distributor. If the power cord is damaged, please contact the service center or distributor to have it replaced by qualified person in order to avoid danger.

When connecting the fan to power supply but turn it off, the consumption power
is about 0.7 W.
How to check electric fan in use for a long time
Does it have these conditions?
- Sometimes press the operation on button, but not working.
- Blade move slowly or move irregularly.
- Motor or motor shaft generates heat unusually.
If the product has these situations, in order to avoid the accident, please turn off and disconnect the power plug, contact the service center or distributor.
