INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Read the manual prior to first using the product and keep it for further reference.
For best sound performances, keep the unit away from water, moisture, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures.
Place the unit in such a way that it can’t fall down.
Never disassemble the unit. Otherwise, it may invalidate the warranty.

  1. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus to avoid any accident.
  2. To prevent fire or electric shock, please check the compliance of the voltage of the power grid with the specified supply voltage of this unit.
  3. The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

Safety Instructions

Electrical conducts:

  • To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable parts inside.
    Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

  •  Before you connect the appliance, ensure the voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to your mains voltage (type plate is located on the bottom of the unit).

Technical conducts:

  •  Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place the user and/or equipment at serious risk.
  •  Do not operate this appliance with a damaged plug or cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or damaged in any way.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified people in order to avoid a hazard.
  •  Do not push objects into any openings as damage to the equipment and/or electric shock may occur.
  • If abnormal noise, smell, smoke, or any other failure is discovered during operation, turn off the product and unplug the power plug. Then contact the service center for repair.
  • Do not remove the appliance from the mains power supply by pulling the cord; pull the plug.

Operational conducts:

  • This equipment is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge. They should be given appropriate supervision and instructions to use the equipment by a person responsible for their safety.
  • This product is not a toy. Never leave the equipment within reach of children. Close supervision is required when using this equipment near children.
  • Do not use this equipment for anything other than its intended use.
  • Do not immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
  • Always unplug the appliance after use and before any cleaning or user maintenance.

Operation

Get Started:

  1. Connect the power cable to the speaker and wall outlet.

  2. Press the power switch to power on the unit, press the Standby button to turn on the speaker, press it again to enter standby mode.

  3. Press the Mode button repeatedly to switch to desired mode: Bluetooth/ AUX-IN/ USB/ SD.
    Note: The speaker will automatically enter USB/SD mode when a USB or SD card is inserted.

  4. Adjust the volume by rotating the Music volume knob.

  5.  Adjust EQ by pressing the EQ/ Bass button. There are 5 EOs can be chosen.(classical/pop/rock/jazz/nor). Long press the EQ/ Bass button to turn on heavy bass mode.

  6. You can also control the speaker by using the remote control, making sure the remote control is directed to the RC receiver.

Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. Press the mode button to enter Bluetooth mode.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device and the device will start to search for the speaker.
  3. Select ‘IQ-5515DJBT’ from the list of found devices.

Note: The operation range for the Bluetooth connection is 10 meters.
Note: If a mobile phone on which you are playing music receives a call, the music will be interrupted. The sound however is not played back via the speaker. After you end the call, the devices are connected to each other again and playback continues.

USB/SD mode:

  1. Insert a USB/SD card to the USB/SD port on the speaker. It can support USB 2.0 and max 32Gb USB and SD card.

  2. Press the mode button to enter USB/SD mode.
    Note: The speaker will automatically enter USB/SD mode when a USB/SD card is inserted.
    Note: The speaker only supports mp3, WMA format.

  3. You can charge your other devices through the USB port with a suitable USB cable.

Line in Mode

  1. Press the mode button to enter Line-in mode.
  2. Connect the analogue output from a TV or similar using an RCA cable.

Guitar and Microphone jack

  1. Plugging the guitar or microphone into the Guitar or Microphone jack on the unit.
  2. Rotate the Guitar or Microphone volume knob to adjust the volume as desired.
  3. If the guitar or microphone is near the loudspeaker, a howling effect (acoustic feedback) may occur. If this happens, place the guitar or microphone away from the speaker.
  4.  Press the MIC. PRIO button, It makes the mic. volume louder than the music volume during singing. Press the button again to resume.
  5. Press the ECHO button and rotate the Guitar or Microphone volume knob to adjust the echo intention.

Recording function:
➔ The recording function only works in USB, SD, and line in modes, the files will save on a USB/SD card.

  1. Press the REC button to start recording.
  2. After recording, press the REC PLAY button to play the records.
  3. If you want to delete the records, press the R-DEL button to delete them.

FM (radio) Mode:

  1.  Press the MODE button shortly after start-up to switch over to “FM” status.
  2. Auto radio station search and storage: Long Press the PLAY/PAUSE button and the unit will automatically search for radio stations in the radio frequency range between
    87.5 and 108.0 MHz. After finished the searching, auto searching will stop and useful stations will save automatically.

Light Mode:

  1. Press the Light switch in the back panel to turn on/off the ceiling light power.

  2. Press the RGB button to adjust the color of speaker lights (green /red /blue).

  3. Press the light button in the remote control to enter the full-color light mode.
    Press the RGB button to resume single color light mode.

  4. Press the light button again to turn off the ceiling light.

Party Chain Function
➔ You can connect multiple audios using audio cords (not supplied) in a chain to create a more interesting party environment and to produce higher sound output.
➔ The party chain function only works under AUX IN mode.

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause Solution
No power AC power cord not connected. Connect the AC power cord correctly.
The unit is in Standby mode. Press the On/standby button to turn on the unit.
No sound Volume in minimum. Adjust volume to the desired level.
The connected device is not in playback mode. Play the music on the connected

device.
The sound output of the connected device is weak.| Adjust the volume of the connected device.
Sound distortion| Volume level too high| Reduce the volume level.
The volume level of the connected device is too high.| Reduce the volume level of the connected device.
