SMART BLEND™

USER MANUAL

Congratulations
On your new Smart Blend ™ portable drink set. Please read through this entire manual before first use and keep for future reference. So that you may enjoy your new NutriMill ® product for years to come.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Before using the NutriMill Smart Blend product, charge for 3-5 hours. This product uses USB 5V smart charging with a magnetic connection charger. The magnetic charger will only attach in the with the chord facing away from the power button.
   

2. The working voltage is DC7.4 V

3. The NutriMill Smart Blend is BPA-free.

4. Do not press the switch if the cup is not installed on the main machine.

5. The NutriMill Smart Blend has smart protection. The product will power down if the motor is overloaded.

6. Ingredients must be cut into small pieces. Please remove hard seeds, thick skins, or hard shells before processing.

7. Not microwave safe. Do not place the NutriMill Smart Blend in the microwave.
   Components and materials in contact with food materials are compliant with food certification requirements.

8. Do not immerse the blender base into water or other liquid; hand wash only, carefully rinsing the blender blade.

9. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or corrosive liquids (such as acetone) to clean products.

10. This product should be stored out of reach of children.

11. The NutriMill Smart blend is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.

12. Use the thermos jar for hot drinks such as coffee.

First Use

Before using the product for the first time, please charge it fully and thoroughly clean. (See: Maintenance on page 4).
Attention: This product is equipped with double protection switch, the blender cannot be used until the cup is screwed on.

Parts Included

Maintenance

1. Do not press the switch before cleaning the product.

2. Clean the product immediately after use.

3. Do not immerse the motor in water or other liquid. Use a damp cloth to wipe the outside of the blender body.
   Carefully rinse the blade compartment, being careful to not get water under the gray seal.

4. Ensure that the product is clean and dry before storage.

5. Store the NutriMill Smart Blend in a dry place.

6. Charge the product monthly to avoid battery damage.

Infused Water or Tea:

1. Add up to 1/4 cup fruit or loose tea to the Mixing Cup.
2. Add 2-1/2 cup filtered water to Mixing Cup.
3. Attach Filter to Lid.
4. Place Lid and Filter into Mixing Cup.
5. Tighten lid by turning counter-clockwise.
6. Enjoy!

TIP: When using the Smart Blend for infused water or tea, the total capacity is 2-3/4 cups.

COFFEE:

1. Place coffee beans into the Mixing Cup.
2. Lower Blender onto Mixing Cup.
3. Screw clockwise to tighten.
4. Double click the power button to start Blender.
5. Turn jar upside down to grind coffee beans.
6. Once ground, turn jar right side up, power off by clicking the power button once.
7. Place Coffee Filter on the Thermos.
8. Pour 4 Tbsp ground coffee, (2 Tbsp for every cup of water) into the Coffee Filter.
9. Let 2 cups boiling water sit for about 30 seconds before pouring slowly over the fresh grounds. (Water temperature should be slightly under boiling).
10. Remove filter and grounds from thermos.
11. Place the Cup Lid on the Thermos and twist clockwise to tighten.
12. Enjoy!

TIP: The blender will stop automatically after 40 seconds, it can be shaken while blending to ensure that all is fully incorporated. Press the power button
twice to blend more as needed.

OAT MILK:

1. Add 1/4 cup rolled oats to filter.
2. Lock Filter onto Blender.
3. Pour 1 cup of filtered water into the Mixing Cup.
4. Add 1 tsp maple syrup and a dash of vanilla to the water.
5. Place Blender with attached Filter into the Mixing Cup.
6. Tighten lid until secure.
7. Press the power button twice to start Blender.
8. Flip unit upside down to blend.
9. Blend up to 30 seconds.
10. Flip unit right side up and click power button to stop.
11. Carefully remove Blender and Filter, letting the oat milk drain from the Filter into the Mixing Cup.
12. Enjoy.

Almond Milk Substitute 1/4 cup raw soaked almonds for the rolled oats.

SMOOTHIE:

1. Add frozen fruit and juice to blender jar up to fill line.
2. Insert Blender into jar.
3. Tighten lid (clockwise) until secure.
4. Press the power button twice to start Blender.
5. Flip unit upside down to blend. Blend up to 40 seconds. Press power. button twice to re-start blender for another 40 seconds as needed.
6. Flip unit right side up and click power button to stop.
7. Carefully remove Blender.
8. Attach lid and twist clockwise to tighten.
9. Enjoy.

TIP: When using the Smart Blender the total capacity is 1-1/4 cups.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Cut or replace ingredients into smaller pieces or charge blender.
After starting the switch, the product does not work and the red light is not on.| Low battery power.| Low battery power.
The red light is on when the machine is stopped during use.| Low battery power.| Low battery power.

RECIPES

Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate:

• 1 cup coffee beans
• 2-1/2 cup filtered water
  Put coffee beans in the Mixing Cup, blend for 30-40 seconds, shaking the blender as needed. Remove blender, add filtered water to cup until full. Stir mixture, place Cup Lid on the Mixing Cup and twist to tighten. Let the coffee sit for 8-12 hours or overnight.
  Place Coffee Filter on Thermos, pour coffee concentrate from Mixing Cup over the filter into the thermos. Remove the filter and used coffee grounds. Store coffee concentrate for up to 7 days.
  To Serve: Fill a glass with ice, add water until half full. Fill to top with the coffee concentrate. Stir to combine. Add almond milk or cream as desired.

Cold Brewed Tea:

• 2 tea bags per cup of water or 2 tsp. loose tea
• 2-2/12 cups cold filtered water
  Add tea to Tea Filter. Place Tea Filter on Cup Lid. Pour up to 2-1/2 cups of filtered water to the plastic Mixing Cup. Attach lid with filter attached to jar and let tea steep for 6-10 hours. (White tea for 6-8 hours, black tea for up to 10 hours).
  Remove filter, loose tea and/or tea bags, add lemon or other add-ins, replace lid and enjoy.

Fruit Infused Water:

• 1/4 Cup Blackberries
• 3 Fresh Mint Leaves
• 2-1/2 Cup Filtered Water

Add fresh fruit and mint leaves to Mixing Cup. Place Tea Filter on Cup Lid. Attach lid and filter to the jar and tighten

Toddler Smoothie:

• 1/2 Cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
• 1/4 Cup sliced banana
• 1/4 Cup vegetables, (kale, spinach, roasted sweet potato, summer squash)
•  Honey or maple syrup to taste

Add ingredients to the Mixing Cup. Blend until preferred consistency is achieved.
