Introduction
Congratulations on you purchase of Champion Stand Mixer 1200W! This product has a metal chassis, 1200W high power motor with low-noise design. You can choose between 7 different speeds to meet all your cooking needs. A large 6L bowl with handle, splash lid, whisk, dough hook and beater provide all amenities you need in your kitchen machine. If you wish to make pasta och grind meat – use together with our meat grinder with pasta attachment.
Safeguards
Before using the equipment, please read the following instructions carefully, and keep the instructions safe for later reference.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors, especially where the equipment could be exposed to rain. This could cause the appliance to have electric leakage.
- Do not use the appliance near water or in a damp environment. Low insulation environment could cause electric leakage.
- Do not use the appliance if the power plug cord is broken.
- Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, if the machine is damaged it could give the user a burn injury or an electric shock.
- If you are not a professional technician, please do not dismantle the equipment, or try to repair it. Any abnormal actions from the user, or when the user performed an incomplete repair could cause electric shock or cause a fire.
- Place the appliance on a stabile surface.
- Do not use the appliance near any heating source.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or other surface.
- The rated voltage of the equipment is 220V-240V, 50Hz- 60Hz, check if your power supply is compatible before use.
- Gently wash all parts of machine before the first use.
- Do not touch the power cord, power plug and other electrical parts with wet hands, it could cause an electric shock.
- If anything abnormal happens while using, please turn the knob to “OFF”, and unplug the power cord in order to turn off the machine. Later, contact our customer service or local distributor.
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended purpose.
- Only use original parts that is intended for Champion model CHKA400.
- While mixing, please do not use utensils or any other tools to gather things in the mixer, it will get caught into the equipment by the mixing head, and cause harm to the machine and/ or personal injury.
- While mixing, keep your hands, hair, and clothes away from the mixing head, they could easily get caught into the machine and cause harm.
- This equipment should not be operated by someone who is physically disabled, mentally disabled, or someone without any relevant operating experience and knowledge (children included).
- Turn the knob to “OFF” and disconnect the power plug, before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
- While mixing, refrain from touching the machine, the motor could be hot.
- Each use duration should be maximum 24 minutes, let the machine have a 15-minute break before next use.
- The motor has overheating protection. If the machine is overheating, it will stop working automatically and will remain in that status till it cooled down completely.
- While using one of the output ports on the machine top, please take out other parts inserted in other output ports and put on its cap in order to prevent short circuit.
- Be extra careful when handling hot food to avoid burns.
- This equipment was designed under the domestic standards, do not use it commercially or industrially.
- Do not store upside down.
- Do not leave the machine unsupervised when in use.
- Check for damages regularly.
- Do not try to repair the equipment on your own. Contact customer service immediately or sent it for repair to special maintenance center.
- To guarantee children’s safety, keep the machine, parts, and all the wrappings (including outer package, color box package, and the PE bag, etc.) away from children.
- When the machine is working, do not put any objects in the mixing bowl
- Do not run the machine empty loaded.

Use
The assembly and the disassembly of the mixing head (Picture A)

- Attach the bowl cover to insert the notch and the upper end of the dough hook to the driving shaft.
- Push to dough hook upward and turn counterclockwise until it cannot move.

- Push the dough hook upwards and turn clockwise until it cannot move.
- Take the hook out and remove the transparent lid.
Mixing Bowl

Put the mixing bowl on a safe and stable, clean, and dry place.

Hold the head of the machine with one hand and push the lift head button with another hand.
The head of the machine could be lifted automatically, and you can lift the head of the machine to its highest point with the help of your hand. -
Insert the stirring rod to its required position as the instructions above.

Put the stainless-steel bowl in the required position and lock it clockwise.

Add your ingredients, do not overload the bowl.

When the steps above are completed, push down the head of the machine, in a locked and horizontal position.

Plug the machine.

Turn the knob to mode 1 to start the machine, after 30 seconds, turn the knob to mode 2 to start mixing.

Turn the machine off by turning to “OFF” mode. Then unplug the machine.

Release the stainless-steel bowl by turning it anticlockwise.
ATTENTION:
For first time use, please clean the parts with detergent, and use running
water to rinse off the detergent. Air-dry the parts for later use.
Dough hook
This object is used for the mixing and stirring of bread dough and other high- density food. Insert the dough hook and the stainless mixing bowl into the machine according to above steps. Put flour and dry yeast and other required liquid materials into the mixing bowl, then start the machine.
Beater
This object is used for mixing medium density food, such as cookie dough, pie, cream, and date cake, etc. Insert the beater and the stainless mixing bowl into the machine according to above steps. Add ingredients to mixing bowl and start mixing.
Whisk
This object is used for adding air into the materials, like making meringue,salad dressing, whipped cream etc. Clean the stainless-steel bowl and the whisk first to make sure that there is no water or oil left. Insert the whisk and the stainless mixing bowl into the machine according to above steps. Add ingredients to mixing bowl and start whisking.
Tips for making whipped cream:
- Put the stainless-steel bowl in the freezer for 20 minutes before starting to whisk.
- Choose the mode 4, start mixing to the right level of consistency.
- The curing of the cream process happened within few seconds. To make sure you do not over whip the cream, observe the status of your cream carefully.

- For high density food, like dough, the eight minutes is the time for forming the dough shape. If you would like to make other pastries, like bread, please extend the operating time according to your need. If you are using the machine at its capacity, we advise you to have a 15 minutes break per 16 working minutes.
- Do not use any mode higher than 2 to knead dough;
- Keep the amount of the flour under 1000g, otherwise the machine could be damaged.

- This recipe is for medium density food, similar to pancake or other sponge-like mixture.
Whisk| Cream (approx. 38% fat): 800ml| 2 minutes| Mode 2-5|
- This recipe is designed for light density food, like whipped cream, a whole egg, or just the egg white.
Meat grinder & Pasta attachment
- Place the spiral into the T-tube.
- Place the cutting blade on the spiral with the sharp side up.
- Select plate for meat grinding (medium or fine) or pasta plate (4 various styles).
- Tighten the fixing ring.
- Open the front cover of the machine and insert the assembled attachments into the machine, tighten counterclockwise.
- Place the food tray on the inlet of the meat grinder.
- Place a bowl/container by the meat outlet, cut the meat into small pieces. Place it (pasta dough or meat) on the food tray, start the machine and push the eat/pasta using the food pusher.
Note: Use the food pusher to push food into the feed port, and do not use fingers or other utensils.

Cleaning and Maintenance
In order to extend the working life of the product, please abide by the following rules while cleaning.
How to clean the exterior of the machine
- Make sure the machine is unplugged.
- Do not use water directly onto the machine, this could cause short circuit, electric shock, electric leakage and internal rust and other malfunctions.
- The exterior of the machine should be cleaned with a damp cloth only.
- Do not immerse the machine into the water.
- Do not use any sharp, rusty, or any other corrosive cleaning products on the machine.
How to clean the parts
- To clean the whisk, dough hook, beater and the stainless-steel mixing bowl turn the machine off and unplug it.
- Do not place parts or bowl in dishwasher as this may cause disform or discolor.
- Clean with a mild detergent, then rinse it off with running water, and air-dry the parts.
Trouble shooting

- Check if the power plug is plugged in the power socket.

- Make sure the head of the machine maintained horizontal.
- Plug into the power socket.
Motor noise occurred while working.| The machine could be running in high
speed or be overloaded.| Adjust the working load, or let the machine rest a
while before next use.
The motor rotating speed is slowing down.|
- Check if the machine is working in cold surroundings, the cold temperature could stiffen the lubricating oil within the machine.
- Check if the food is overloading the motor.

- Let the machine run empty-loaded for 5 minutes to soften the oil and stabilize the rotating speed.
- Turn down the mixing load for the machine, and switch the mode to the lowest speed.

This warranty period begins on the day the product is purchased or delivered. Champion Nordic has no obligation to repair or replace products that are not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to products purchased and used for home use and does not cover damage resulting from abuse, failure to comply with the instructions from Champion Nordic, cases in which the product has been modified or subjected to unauthorized repair, improper packaging on the part of the owner, normal wear and tear, or improper handling on the part of a transport company.
