Safety, Environmental and Setup Instructions

  • No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
  • The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect devices shall remain readily operable.
  • Connect this device to a properly installed and earthed wall outlet only. Make sure the mains voltage corresponds with the specifications on the rating plate.
  • Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way.
  • A damaged mains cable or plug must immediately be replaced by an authorized service center.
  • In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply.
  • Children should be supervised by parents when using the device.
  • Clean the device with a dry cloth only.
  • Do NOT use CLEANING AGENTS or ABRASIVE CLOTHS!
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
  • Install the device at a location with sufficient ventilation in order to prevent heat accumulation.
  • Do not cover the ventilation openings!
  • Install the device at a safe and vibration-free location.
  • Install the device as far away as possible from computers and microwave units; otherwise radio reception may be disturbed.
  • Do not open or repair the enclosure. It is not safe to do so and will void your warranty. Repairs only by authorized service/ customer center.
  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
  • When you are necessary to ship the unit store it in its original package. Save the package for this purpose.
  • In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge or fast transient (burst), remove and reconnect the power supply.
  • If the unit is not using for a long period of time, disconnect it from the power supply by unplugging the power plug. This is to avoid the risk of fire.

GETTING STARTED

Connecting to power

  1. Connect the cord of the power adapter to the “DC IN” jack of the radio.
  2. Connect the plug of the power adapter to a wall socket.

The radio is powered and in standby mode when you see the display is switched on.

BACKUP SYSTEM

  • The radio is equipped with a backup system. It requires 2x 1.5 V AAA batteries. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment and make sure the positive and negative (+ or -) sides of the battery are in contact with the corresponding terminals in the battery compartment.
  • If a power cut occurs, the radio automatically switches to the battery power supply and keeps the clock and timer settings.
  • When replacing the battery, do not disconnect the power adapter. Otherwise, all clock and alarm settings will be lost.

TIME SET

  1. Under the clock mode, press the “SET” button, the 2 digits for “HOUR” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to adjust the hours
  2. Press the “SET” button again, the 2 digits for “MIN” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to adjust the minutes
  3. Press the “SET” button the 3rd time to set the 24HR or 12HR, the defaulted set is 24HR, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set 12HR or 24HR
  4. Press the “SET” button the 4th time to set the snooze time, such as “05”means snooze 5 minutes and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set your desired snooze time
  5. Press the “SET” button the 5th time revert to clock mode

MODE/ STANDBY BUTTON
You can press “MODE/ ” button to switch the function from FM/LINE/OFF
You can also press and hold the “MODE/ ” button to switch the unit OFF.

VOL BUTTON
Under FM/LINE mode, press the “VOL” button, “L10” is the defaulted volume level, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button adjust to your desired volume level
Total 15 volume levels

RADIO OPERATION

Press the “MODE/ ” button to switch the radio on.
Press “UP” or “DOWN” button to adjust the frequency.
Press and hold the “UP” or “DOWN” button to automatically tune to the next available FM station.

MEMORY THE STATIONS
Under FM mode, select your desired FM station, then pressing and holding the “MEM” button for more than 3 seconds, at this time “01”will blinking and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to select the storage station no., then press “MEM” button to confirm this action You can storage total 20 FM stations

RECALL THE STATIONS
Under FM mode, press “MEM” button to obtain the storage FM stations, and you can press “MEM” button continual to obtain the stations from “01-20”

ALARM FUNCTION

ALARM SET

  1. Switch the unit in the standby mode.

  2. Press the “ALARM” button, then enter into ALARM 1 mode, the 2 digits for “HOUR” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the hours

  3. Press the “ALARM” button again, the 2 digits for “MIN” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the minutes

  4. Press the “ALARM” button the 3rd time into ALARM 1 alarm ring mode, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to select alarm ON=BUZZER/FM/AUX or turn OFF the alarm

  5. Press the “ALARM” button the 4th time, then enter into ALARM 2 mode, the 2 digits for
    “HOUR” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the hours

  6. Press the “ALARM” button the 5th time, the 2 digits for “MIN” will blinking, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to set the minutes

  7. Press the “ALARM” button the 6th time into ALARM 2 alarm ring mode, and you can press “UP” or “DOWN” button to select alarm ON=BUZZER/FM/AUX or turn OFF the alarm

SNOOZE

Under the alarm ring mode, you can press “SNOOZE” button into snooze waiting time

SLEEP

Under FM/LINE mode, pressing and holding the “SLEEP” button for more than 3 seconds, the 2 digits for sleep minutes will blinking, and then you can press sleep button continual to select the sleep time from “05-15-30-45-60-75-90-00”

Remark: If you already opened the sleep function, you can check the remaining sleep time by long press the sleep button for the first time

DIMMER

Except the alarm ring mode, you can press “DIMMER” button to set the dimmer level, total 2 dimmer levels
AUTO-OFF DISPLAY

When powered on, the default dimmer level is high, you can press the dimmer button convert to low level
Press and hold the “DIMMER” button for more than 3 seconds, the LED will power off. At this time you can press any button to light up the LED screen to high dimmer, and after 10 seconds the LED screen will extinguish.

Press and hold the “DIMMER” button for more than 3 seconds again; the LED screen will blinking, then the auto-stop display function disappeared

WIRELESS (QI)CHARGING

You can put the smartphone (which have the built-in wireless charging chips) on the top of the unit, and then the smartphone will be charging. When QI charging, the white LED for QI will on, after full charged LED off

CHARGING EXTERNAL DEVICE

Connect an external device (e.g. smartphone, mp3 player) via a USB cable (not provided) to the USB jack on the back of the radio for charging. The radio cannot access the contents in the connected external device.

Remark:
Please only use one charging device, either wireless charging or USB charging port. Do not use together.
