- WARNING: Use two or more people to move the refrigerator. Failure to do so can result in injury.
- The appliance is designed to be free standing only and is not designed to be recessed or built in.
- Allow 12cm of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator, thus allowing the proper air circulation.
- Locate the fridge away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.) as these can affect the acrylic coating and electrical consumption.
- Avoid locating the refrigerator in moist areas.

- Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or service technician install an outlet near the appliance.
Before Using Your Appliance
-
Remove the exterior and interior packing.
-
Check to make sure you have the following parts:
2 x Removable shelves
1 x Salad/vegetable bin
3 x Bottle balconies -
Before connecting the refrigerator to the active power source, let it stand upright for approximately three hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation.
-
Clean the interior surface and all parts before use.
Food Storage
Refrigerator Compartment
- The shelf positions in the fridge can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
- The temperature varies from one section of the fridge to another. The coldest part is immediately below the icebox and near to the rear.
- Do not place hot/warm food or liquids in the fridge compartment. Leave this to cool at room temperature and place it in the fridge, ensuring that is has adequate air circulation.
- Meat and fish that are stored in the refrigerator should be well wrapped and consumed within one to two days.
- To reduce humidity and the consequence of increased frosting, do not store liquids in unsealed containers.
Icebox Compartment
- This compartment is designed for production of ice cubes and short-term storage (being three to four days at most) of some commercially frozen foods.
- The temperature in this compartment does not get cold enough to freeze food safely for long periods of time and works best when the food is already frozen. This means that the chiller compartment is NOT a true freezer.
- The chiller door is at risk of breaking if there is an excessive build-up of ice. This part is not covered under the returns policy. Be sure to defrost when the ice reaches ¼ inch thick.
Thermostat Settings
- To control the initial temperature, adjust the control dial accordingly. The temperature settings go from ‘1’ to ‘7’, each achieving varying degrees of cooling in both the fridge and freezer compartments, with ‘7’ being the coldest.
- The recommended default setting is position ‘3’.
- When turning on the refrigerator for the first time, set the temperature control to ‘6’.
- PLEASE NOTE that ambient temperatures (room temperatures), the temperature and quantity of recently stored food and how often the door is opened will all affect the temperature inside the refrigerator.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Cleaning your Refrigerator
Always switch the appliance power supply off or unplug it before you start to
begin cleaning or maintenance.
Do NOT clean the appliance by pouring/running water through it. This will
cause damage to the parts and consequently break the refrigerator.
The interior surfaces should be cleaned periodically to avoid odours and cross
contamination.
Wash the shelves and trays with a mild detergent solution and warm water. Do
NOT put them in the dishwasher.
Wash the outside of the refrigerator with a mild detergent and warm water.
When cleaning the controls or any of the electrical parts, be sure to wring
the water out of the cleaning tool you are using. Leave to stand un-plugged
for twenty-four hours after cleaning to avoid the risk of
electric shock. Once the appliance has dried, reconnect the appliance to the
power supply with dry hands and switch the appliance on. If the appliance is
going to be left switched off for any length of time, clean the interior and
prop the door open to prevent a build-up of odour.
Moving Your Refrigerator
Turn the temperature to OFF, unplug the refrigerator and remove the food
shelves and trays.
Remove or securely tape down all loose items inside your refrigerator.
Tape the door shut to avoid it swinging open whilst moving.
Be sure the refrigerator stays secure in an upright position during
transportation. Also, protect the outside of the refrigerator with a blanket
or similar item.
