Safety Instructions
Notice: Ensure you read and fully understand instructions before use
While every attempt is made to ensure the highest degree of protection in all
equipment, we cannot guarantee freedom from injury. The user assumes all risk
of injury due to use. All merchandise is sold on this condition, which no
representative of the company can waive or change.
- Make sure all fastenings are tightly in place and that everything is in order before using the product. This should be checked periodically by an adult.
- Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you have all of the parts and fittings required.
- Do not carry out alterations or modifications to this product.
- Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas flame, electrical element or any other appliance.
- Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- Persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory and mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge do not intend this product for use, unless persons responsible for their safety have given them supervision or instruction concerning use of the product.
- The heating element and cooking rack will become very hot during use. Do not touch these parts whilst the product is in use.
- This product is not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid.
- Never operate electrical appliances in the immediate vicinity of water sources.
- Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged, is in accordance with the rating label on the appliance and that the socket is earthed.
- When the appliance is not in use, always unplug it from the mains socket.
- Only use this product on stable, level and dry surfaces.
- This appliance is for domestic use only.
- To avoid injury, avoid touching the grill until it has been left to fully cool down.
- To avoid scratches on the grill, do not use metal appliances to stir/move food and do not cut food on the grill.
- Do not put flammable products on the grill.
- Never cover the rack with aluminium foil or any kind of kitchenware.
- Do not store the grill outside to avoid damage from weathering.
- Only carry the appliance using the plastic handles.
- Always carry the grill and the stand separately.
- Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.

Operating Instructions
- Fill the tray with approx. 2L of water, taking care to not exceed the maximum mark on the tray.
- Connect the appliance to the mains supply socket and turn the thermostat knob to the highest setting (“Max”). The pilot light will come on.
- Preheat for about 5 minutes before use. When grilling delicate food or for warm holding you can turn the thermostat back to a lower setting.
- The water in the tray will evaporate during use. It is therefore necessary to fill up water from time to time. Be careful to not pour water on the heating element.
- When grilling is finished, turn the thermostat to “0” and disconnect the grill from the mains supply socket.
Note: When powered on for the first time, the appliance may emit a new
smell, and a small amount of smoke may be noticeable. This is perfectly
normal, and due to the manufacturing oils used during production.
Note: Before first use, clean the appliance and its accessories using
soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning chemicals or substances as these may
damage the product.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Before cleaning the appliance, always unplug it from the mains socket.
- Clean only using water and soap. Never clean the appliance using strong chemical or industrial substances, as these may damage the product.
- Always allow the product enough time to fully cool down before cleaning it after use.
- Always dry the product after cleaning with a clean and dry cloth or towel.

For proper treatment, recovery and recycling, please take this product(s) to designated collection points where it will be accepted free of charge. Penalties may be applicable for incorrect disposal of this waste, in accordance with your national legislation.
