- This product is intended for indoor use only.
- Keep the mains lead away from the edge of the counter/surface, and ensure it is out of reach of children and pets.
- Never carry out alterations or modifications to this product.
- Never operate this appliance in the immediate vicinity of water sources. It is not suitable for use in bathrooms, or outdoors.
- The appliance must be free from descaling treatment before use.
- Beware of hot surfaces whilst the appliance is on use. The outer shell can become very hot.
- Do not insert any objects into the boiler.
- Do not attempt to overflow the appliance, as this may cause large spills and possible injuries due to boiling water.
- Beware of hot steam coming from the lid, especially during refilling.
- Only use this appliance on a stable, level and dry surface.
- The boiler should be used in ambient temperatures between 2 and 35 degrees Celsius.
- Do not fill the boiler when it is connected to the mains supply. This brings risk of spilling water onto electrical components, creating a risk of electrical shock.
- Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged, is in accordance with the rating label on the appliance, and that the socket is earthed.
- When the appliance is not in use, always unplug it from the mains socket.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or any part of this appliance in water or any other liquid.
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory and mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by persons responsible for their safety.
- Never attempt to move or carry the water boiler whilst it is in use. Remove any water from the boiler and allow time for the appliance to cool down before moving.

Warnings

- Risk of burns! Do not open the appliance whilst it is in use – the steam produced can be very hot.
- Risk of electrical shock! Never allow water, or any other liquid, to touch the cord, plug or any part of the outer appliance whilst in use.
- This product is not intended for use by children. Keep children and pets away whilst the product is in use.
Operating Instructions
Please refer to the diagram below for instructions on how to operate your product.
Before First Use
Before using the appliance for the first time, rinse the inside of the urn with warm water, without detergent. This is to remove any potential manufacturing oils/dust from the inside of the boiler.
Filling With Water
- Remove the lid by turning the handle clockwise.
- Fill the boiler with the desired amount of water, making sure not to fill past the “MAX” level indicator. Do not under-fill, as this will cause the overheat protection to operate.
- Connect the boiler to a suitable mains supply.
- Press the “ON/OFF” switch and the water boiler will begin to heat. Do not remove the lid during the heating cycle.
Dispensing
- When the water is hot, use the water lever to dispense water into a suitable mug/cup/container. Ensure all loose fingers are kept well away from the tap whilst in operation, as the water will be very hot.
- The Heating light will switch off when the water has reached boiling point – the “Keep Warm” light will appear when the temperature has cooled down slightly and the appliance is attempting to re-heat the water.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Please refer to the instructions below in regards to cleaning and maintaining your product.
- Do not clean the appliance by using a water jet.
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged before attempting any cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not use a scouring pad/cloth on the appliance. Doing so may leave scratches.
- To clean the inside of the appliance, use a descaling solution, following the manufacturer’s instructions on the descaler packaging.
- The outside of the appliance can be cleaned using a moist cloth and a small amount of non-abrasive detergent. Do not use any harsh cleaning chemicals or industrial substances, as these may damage the product.
- Allow the appliance to cool completely before attempting any cleaning.
- Empty any excess water out of the appliance before attempting any cleaning or maintaining
