Startup and Operation
Connecting the audio transmitter
Connect the USB plug (1) of the Bluetooth audio transmitter to the USB port on your TV/PC/laptop or to a standard USB power supply unit (5 V, 500 mA min.). See Pic1a/Pic1b. The LED (2) on the audio transmitter starts to flash.
- Connect the supplied audio cable (3) to the Audio IN socket (4) of the audio transmitter and the Audio OUT socket of your playback device.
Connecting the first Bluetooth receiver
- Switch the Bluetooth receiver (e.g. Bluetooth headset) to pairing mode. Refer to the operating instructions for your Bluetooth receiver.
- Place the Bluetooth receiver within the range of the Bluetooth transmitter. The Bluetooth transmitter will automatically connect to the receiver. After successful connection, the LED (2) on the Bluetooth transmitter will emit steady blue light.
Connecting the second Bluetooth receiver
- Switch the second Bluetooth receiver (e.g. Bluetooth headset) to pairing mode. Refer to the operating instructions for your Bluetooth receiver.
- Press and hold the pairing button (5) on the Bluetooth transmitter for 1second. The LED on the Bluetooth transmitter will flash while the connection is being established with the second Bluetooth receiver. The first Bluetooth receiver will be muted while the connection with the second receiver is established. The Bluetooth connection is not affected, however. After a successful connection with the second Bluetooth receiver, the LED (2) on the first Bluetooth transmitter will once again emit a steady blue light.
Operation
- Reduce the volume on the audio source and start audio playback.
- Now you can increase the volume on the audio source or the Bluetooth receiver as needed.
Resetting the Bluetooth transmitter
Press and hold the pairing button (5) on the Bluetooth transmitter for 5seconds to reset the transmitter to the factory settings. When you reset the Bluetooth transmitter to the factory setting, this also removes the pairing to the Bluetooth receivers. Afterward, you must pair the devices again. (See 5.1 and 5.2)
Note
- The maximum range of the Bluetooth connection is 10 meters (without obstructions).
- Avoid placing any objects between the Bluetooth transmitter and the Bluetooth receivers in order to ensure error-free transmission and to utilize the maximum range.
Care and Maintenance
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
