  • Use the device in dry indoor environments only.
  • Protect the device from humidity.
  • This apparatus is for moderate climates areas use, not suitable for use in tropical climates countries.
  • No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
  • The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect devices shall remain readily operable.

  • When you are necessary to ship the unit store it in its original package. Save the package for this purpose.
  • In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge or fast transient (burst), remove and reconnect the power supply.
  • If the unit is not used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the power supply by unplugging the power plug. This is to avoid the risk of fire.

BASIC OPERATION

The radio is powered by a built-in lithium battery. A USB cable is supplied in the product package.

Charging battery
The battery status is visible in the upper left corner of the display.
Getting started
Press and hold the “ ” button to power on the unit.
To power off the radio, press and hold the same button until “Power off” is shown in the display.

Volume Control
Press the „ / “ button to decrease or increase the volume.

RADIO MODE

Change radio mode
When the radio is powered on, press the “MODE” button to select the mode between DAB and FM.

DAB station scan
The first time you power on the radio, it will scan the DAB radio stations automatically. It will display and play the first station after the scan is done.
If “No service” appears in the display, start the automatic station search again.

  1. Press and hold the “INFO/MENU” button until the main menu is shown.
  2. Choose with “ / “ the function “Full Scan” and press “ENTER”.
  3. The station search starts. The display shows the number of stations found and the first found radio station can be heard.

Tune DAB station
Press the “ “ or “ “ button to choose other radio channels and press “ENTER”

FM scan
Change to FM mode by pressing the “MODE“ button. Press and hold the “ “ or “ ” button and the unit will start the scan. It will scan to the next available station.
To manual scan, use the “ “ or “ “ button. And it will fine-tune the frequency in a step of 100kHz.

Store preset station

  1. Press and hold the “PRE” button until the display shows “Preset store”.
  2. Choose the number of preset with “ “ or “ “ where you want to save the station.
  3. Then press the “ENTER” button. The display shows “Preset X stored” (X = Station number).

Note: You can also store the selected station directly on the station by pressing the station buttons 1, 2 and 3. Press and hold the corresponding preset button until “Preset X Saved” (X = Memory).

Recall preset station
1. To recall the preset station, press the “PRE” button shortly.
2. Use the “ “ or “ “ button to navigate.
3. At least press the “ENTER” button to confirm. The selected radio station will be played.

Information (Info)
When the radio station is playing, press the “INFO/MENU” button repeatedly to cycle through the information broadcasted by the radio as follow:
Under DAB

  • DLS (Dynamic Label Segmenting): Radio text broadcasted from DAB station such as the news, songs being played, etc)
  • Signal strength: This shows the strength of the radio station.
  • Channel/Frequency: The frequency of DAB-Station is displayed such as “11C 220.352MHz”.
  • PTY (Programme Type): shows which type of program are you listening to (Music, Talk, News, etc). If there is no information, it will display “Programme Type”.
  • Time/Date: The time and date are set automatically.
  • Audio info: The display shows the digital audio bit rate of the current reception.

Under FM

  • RT (Radio text): Text broadcasted from the FM station
  • Program Type: Show the program type of the radio station.
  • Signal error: The signal strength is displayed graphically
  • Time/Date: The time and date are set automatically.
  • Frequency: The FM frequency for the radio station is playing.

LANGUAGE

With this function, you can select the menu language of the unit. You can select the following languages: German, English, French, Italian.

  1. Press and hold the “INFO/MENU” button until the main menu is shown.
  2. Choose with “ / “ the function “Language” and press “ENTER”.
  3. Choose with “ / “ the desired language and press “ENTER”.

TIME / DATE

Time set manual

  1. Press and hold the „INFO/MENU” button until the main menu is shown.
  2. Choose with “ / “ the function “Date/Time” and press “ENTER”.
  3. Adjust with „ / “ the time and date settings and press „ENTER” to confirm.

FACTORY RESET

NOTE: When resetting the device to the factory settings, all stored stations and settings are deleted!

  1. Press and hold the “INFO/MENU” button until the main menu is shown.
  2. Choose with “ / “ the function “Factory reset” and press “ENTER”.
  3. Choose with “ / “ the selection “Yes” and press “ENTER”. The device restarts and all settings are deleted.
