the excessive cord on the back of the base, in the space provided for that
purpose. Only use the charger provided with the robot: do not use universal
chargers. To place the docking station, make sure
there is an empty area of 0.5m on the side and 1m in front of the docking
station. Do not install the docking station near stairs. The cable must be
tight. Always place the docking station on hard floor. Do not place the
docking station on carpet. Connect the power cord plug to
the main socket. Do not put anything inside the docking
station. Turn the robot upside down and turn the power switch ON ( I ).
You will see LED lights blinking on the robot’s dashboard for approximately
50s. Place the robot on the docking station:
the charging plates on the robot must touch those on the docking station. The
battery symbols will then blink. ON (I): the robot is
charging (3h for the battery to be full charged).
OFF(O) : the robot can not charge . In order to extend the
battery lifespan, always keep the robot charging on the docking station while
not using it.
When not using the vacuum cleaner for a long time, please fully charge the
battery then remove it and store it in a cool dry place. The robot has drop sensors to detect stairs and gaps. The robot
will change direction when detecting them.
In order to correctly detect the floor level difference, make sure there are
no objects (bags, shoes …) on the floor next to gaps, stairs or on the stairs’
steps.
The robot near stairs without objects yes .
The robot near stairs with shoes, bags or other objects no (the robot
will not properly detect the stairs and therefore fall). Press the button to start cleaning or use Tefal Robots
application. The robot will start in boost mode. EN Press the button again to pause cleaning. Press it again to
resume the cleaning. Press the button to end the cleaning. If
the robot starts the cleaning from the docking station, it will return to the
docking station.
Stand-by mode :
After 5 min out of the docking station or 30 min on the docking station, the
robot will be put on stand-by mode. To wake-up the robot, press any button on
the robot or start a cleaning run from the app.
If the cleaning cycle is finished, the robot will automatically go back to the
docking station in order to recharge its battery.
If the battery is empty although there is still some area uncleaned, the robot
will go back to the docking station to recharge. In that case, as soon as the
robot is on the docking station, the start/pause light will stay lighted (for
around 30 min, time for the robot to go in stand by mode).
As soon as the battery is recharged completely, the robot will automatically
resume its cleaning cycle where it stopped.

HOW TO WASH AND CLEAN
CLEANING THE CHARGING CONTACT
To clean the charging contact switch off the robot and turn it upside down. Then use a dry cloth to wipe them. Do not scrub with oil. Clean the charging contact once a week.
To empty the dust box, open the flip
cover, lift the dust box handle and take out the dust box. Open the dust box
cover from the top to empty it. Pull out the filter frame to remove the
pleated filter and the foam.
Tap the pleated filter gently over a garbage bin to shake off the dust. Do not
clean it with water.
Rinse the foam and the dust box with water. Let them out to dry 12h. When the
items are completely dried, place them back into the vacuum cleaner: first
place the foam and the filter, after place back the dust box with the handle
lifted and push on the handle to lock the dust box.
If the dust box is not correctly locked, the flip cover will not be fully
closed.
Empty the dust box after every use. Clean the dust box, the filter and the
foam every week. Turn the robot upside down and turn the
robot OFF ( O ).
Unlock the brush guard using the 2 lockers. Remove the brush guard, and pull out the brush.
Clean the brush with the blade side (to cut the hair) and the brush side (to
remove them) doing movements from the top to bottom. Put the brush and the brush guard back. Make sure that the rubber
part at the tip of the brush is in place. Lock the brush guard with the 2
lockers. To clean side brush, remove it by
unclipping it and use a cleaning brush to clean the side brush and the
entanglements in the slot of the side brush. Clean side brushes once a month.
Replace lateral brushes every 6 months.
Throw away the old brushes and replace EN them with new ones. Clip the new
brushes on the robot. To clean the wheels, clean the front,
left and right wheels once a month. The wheel EN shaft may be entangled by
hair, cloth strips, etc. so please clean it in time. It is recommended that every week, a dry cotton cloth should be
used to carefully wipe its camera and laser window and sensor to prevent dust
accumulation, which will affect the performance of the product.
