Instructions
General Safety Warning
Please make sure that you read and follow these instructions carefully.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
Maximum User Weight
INTENDED USE
The A-Series Rollator is a lightweight, aluminum rollator designed to provide support and assistance to those unable to, or who lack the confi dance to, walk without some level of guidance. This rollator is intended for indoor and outdoor use.
SAFETY
DO NOT exceed the maximum user weight 21st (135kg).
MAKE SURE the rollator is locked in the open position before use.
ONLY use as a walking aid in the forward direction.
DO NOT use on stairs, escalators, or steep hills with gradients greater
than 1 in 8.
MAKE SURE both brakes are locked before using the seat and that the
backrest is fitted.
DO NOT move the rollator when the seat is occupied.
DO NOT sit on the seat when the rollator is on an incline.
DO NOT hang items from the handles as this may affect the stability of the
rollator.
UNPACKING
Remove the packaging and check all parts carefully.
Contact your supplier immediately if parts are missing or damaged and do not
try and assemble.

ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION
Unfold the Rollator:
Push down on the black bar under the bag until the crossbars are horizontal
and the wheels are fully extended.
Insert the handles:
Slot the handle tube inside the mainframe.
Adjust the height such that the handles are in line with your wrists when you
stand upright with your arms relaxed by your sides.
Align the holes in the tubes and insert the handwheel, figure 2.
Check the handwheel is on the outside of the frame.
Tighten the handwheel to secure.
Ensure both handles are set to the same height.
Check the brake cable is attached:
Clip the brake cable onto the main rollator frame, figure 3.
Attach the backrest:
Press and hold the black button on the backrest housing.
Slide the backrest tube into the housing slot, figure4.
Release the button to secure.
IN USE

To operate the brakes:
Squeeze the brake lever up to apply the brakes.
Let go of the lever to release the brakes. -
To lock the brakes:
Push the brake lever down until it clicks in position. -
To unlock the brakes:
Pull the brake lever up. An audible click will be heard as the brake is released. -
To fold the rollator:
Pull the backrest towards the handle.
Lift the seat up.
Pull the black cord up to draw the wheels together.
MAINTENANCE
Check all fasteners (screws, nuts, bolts, etc.) are correctly located and
securely fitted.
Check the wheels can rotate freely.
Ensure the brakes are functioning correctly. When squeezed or locked the two
rear wheels should not be able to rotate.
Check for general wear or damage. Any suspected faults or damage should
immediately be reported to the supplier and the product taken out of use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS.
Ensure all dirt and debris is removed from around the wheels, axle, and
brakes.
Clean regularly using a general-purpose, neutral detergent, and warm water.
Please check the suitability of the cleaning products prior to use. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or cloths as these could permanently damage the surface and
invalidate any warranty.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
This product must be thoroughly cleaned/sterilized prior to disposal.
This product is manufactured from metal and plastic and can be disposed of
through Local Authority Household Waste and Recycling Centres or through Local
Trade Waste Collectors.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE
NRS Healthcare guarantees this product for a period of 12 months, from the
date of purchase, against faulty materials and workmanship.
This guarantee does not cover; fair wear & tear, abuse, misuse, interference
or tampering with any part of the product.
