General Safety Warning
Read and follow these instructions carefully. Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
NTENDED USE
The SPA Grab Rail range provides a stable support to assist users to raise and lower themselves, and provides stability when overcoming everyday obstacles

**Safe Working Load
**
SAFETY
Warning: Do not exceed the Safe Working Load.
- The person that installs this product must be suitably qualified and competent.
- Use only as a support to assist movement. Do not apply full weight to the rail.
- Never drill through pre-stressed concrete to install a support rail.
- Always check for concealed electrical cables and water pipes when installing.
- Check your legal requirements relating to earth bonding of metal parts.
- Inspect product (to ensure the rail is unbroken, rigid, stable, and that the fixings & screws are fitted into place) at regular intervals. See section 5.2.
UNPACKING
Remove the packaging and check all parts carefully. Contact your supplier immediately if parts are missing or damaged and do not try and assemble.

ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION
General
- Install the rail in an area where the mounting surface and substrate are structurally sound.
- Check the type of substrate you intend to fix the rail to. For example; brick, timber or concrete.
- Only use fixings suitable for the substrate.
Note: As we do not know the substrate, we cannot recommend any particular fixings. If in any doubt, ask a reputable fixings supplier for advice.
Installation

Hold the rail against the fixing surface and mark the hole positions.

Drill holes suitable for the fixings and screws you are to use. See Section 4.

Hold the rail against the wall and secure using your chosen fixings.
**** Test the installation and make sure the rail is rigid, stable and fit for purpose. -
Conceal the fixings by pushing the cover plates over the wall brackets.
MAINTENANCE
Regularly check the product is securely fixed to the wall and fit for purpose.
Check all fixings are tightened and in good condition.
If you see damage, or suspect a fault, do not use. Contact your supplier.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Check the suitability of the cleaning products before use. Clean regularly. Wipe down with a soft cloth and a mild detergent/disinfectant solution. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or cloths as these could permanently damage the surface and invalidate any warranty.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
This product is manufactured from stainless steel can be disposed of through Local Authority Household Waste and Recycling Centres or through Local Trade Waste Collectors.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE
NRS Healthcare guarantee this product for a period of 12 months, from the date
of purchase, against faulty materials and workmanship.
This guarantee does not cover; fair wear & tear, abuse, misuse, interference
or tampering with any part of the product. Any guarantee issued by NRS
Healthcare does not affect your statutory rights.
