BEATFOXX GA-40LP Golden Age Jukebox

Thank you for purchasing the Beatfoxx GA-40LP Golden Age Jukebox. Read these instructions carefully before operating the unit. Please heed all safety warnings and keep these instructions for future reference. Follow all instructions.

Precautions: Do not use this device near water, moisture or heat. Make sure that the ventilation openings are unobstructed at all times during operation. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Do not use the machine near flammable materials. Exposure to intense or prolonged vibration can damage the unit. If you do not use it for a long time, turn it off and disconnect the power supply. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as liquid has been spilled. Do not open the device.

Power On

place the Jukebox on a flat and stable stand, surface or table. Use only the delivered power supply in package. To play LPs, place them on the record player (see picture). Clean dirty LPs with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure that the LP is not scratched or damaged. Highly contaminated or scratched LPs my not be played. BEATFOXX GA-40LP Golden Age Jukebox 1

Important Operation note: If you operate the jukebox with the integrated speakers, set the switch on the black LINE OUT display on the back of the box to OFF. If you want to connect external speakers (LINE OUT) then slide the switch to ON and use the jack plugs as indicated.

Warning: If the switch in the LINE OUT is ON, the internal speakers of the jukebox are deactivated.

Beatfoxx GA-40LP Jukebox is working in four different modes: AM/FM-Radio, CD /LP-Player, USB/SD-Player, Bluetooth BT Player and AUX-In. To operate the device you can use the IR (infrared) remote control (please hold in direction of IR sensor on player) or keys on front side of the device. Press “Mode/Dev” key to select the desired playing mode. The operation mode will be shown on LCD display.

Phonograph Record/ turn table function

For playing Phonographic records please make sure to switch the button at the back side of the Juke box to PH modus.

Backside of the Jukebox

Note: Please keep in mind, that the Turntable function is stopped and is not working when the switch is set to AUX.

  1. Press the “MODE” button on the front side until led display indicates “PH”, Put the phonograph record onto the turntable, select player speed 33/45/78. Gently put the needle on the record, (details can be found on page 5 -Figure 2-1). the Music starts playing.

  2. NOTE: the tone-arm will not automatically return to the tonearm-
    rest after reaching the end of the record.

  3. Note: if the Switch “AUTO/STOP” is placed in the “OFF” modus, music playback after the completion of the play, will not automatically STOP.

Bluetooth® BT mode: press the Mode/Dev button several times until “bt” will be displayed. Take your BT device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and switch on BT. Scan for other BT devices and you will find “JUKEBOX”. Press connect to pair both devices. If you have any problems with pairing please checE3k the user manual of your BT device for your reference. For operation use Start/Pause (>II), Stop, Next (>>I), Prev (I<<), and volume control on your BT-Device. Accordingly, you can use the keys in the front of GA-40 or keys on IR remote control.

FM Radio: Press the “Standby” button, and use Mode/Dev key to enter the FM radio mode, the LCD display will indicate AM radiofrequency. Press “PREV/NEXT” to select your E3desire station. Press “Mode/DEV” to change AM radio mode. For the auto-scan memory function, press “Auto” on the front panel to start searching and saving the available radio frequencies. Once the saved radiofrequency is saved. Press “PRE+” or “PRE-” to select the programmed station.

CD-Player: Press the “Mode/DEV” button until the LCD display indicates “—-“, then the display will show a number of songs. For operation use Start/Pause (>II), Stop, Next (>>I), Prev (I<<) and volume control. Press “REP” once to repeat one song, the REP indication at the top left corner on the led display will flash. Press “REP” one more time to repeat all songs in the track and the REP indication at the top left corner on the led display will appear. Press “REP” again to cancel the repeat function.

SD-Player / USB Player: Press “Mode/DEV” button until led display indicate “SD—-” resp. “USB—-“, then display will show number of folder, then number of songs. For operation use Start/Pause (>II), Stop, Next (>>I), Prev (I<<) and volume control. Press “Next/Prev” or “F+/-10” to select your desire song. Press “REP” once to repeat one song, the REP indication at the top left corner on the led display will flash. Press “REP” one more time to repeat all songs in the track and the REP indication at the top left corner on the led display will appear. Press “REP” again to cancel repeat function. To play songs randomly, press “REP” button until the led display “RAN” on the bottom of the display. For programming, press “STOP” button to stop playback. Press “PROG” to enter programming mode. The led display will flash and indicate “P 01”, select the song that you want to program and then press “PROG” again. Press “Play/Pause” to stop programming and start to playback the programmed songs. This unit can program up to 20 songs.

Light Management: You can turn the lights on by pressing the big,
red button “Light” (as seen above) on the frontside. To switch between the two light modes, you have to operate the switch on the backside called “Light Mode”. If the switch is on “Play” the color will change repeatedly, if the switch is on “Hold” the color will stay on the current color when the switch was operated.

AUX IN: you can connect an external audio source to the GA-40 by using the 3.5mm stereo cable on rear side of device. Press MODE button until you see “PH” in the Display, then change the switch on the backside of the device to „AUX“

Chinch out: you can connect an external mixer or amplifier to the audio output on rear side of device.

Equalizer: EQ function applied only for CD, USB and SD function. You can select Rock/Pop/Jazz/Flat/Classic. By pressing “EQ” button on the front panel gradually to select your favorable sound effect.

Clock settings: Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds. The display will flash and indicate “12 – H”, press “Next/Prev” to select 12 or 24 hours clock system. Press “PROG” to set up the hour by pressing “Next/Prev”, then press “PROG” again to set minute. Press “PROG” again for complete the clock setting.

Recording: To use the recording function, you must first insert a USB stick. Then press the MODE button until the LED display shows “PH”. Now the music to be recorded has to be played and by pressing the “REC” button the recording starts. You can stop the recording by pressing the “STOP” button.
