• The product is intended for ages 8 and older. Do not give the product to anyone below the specified age.

Caution

<Improper use of the battery may lead to overheating, exploding, and fluid leakage. Please see the following Caution content.>

• Swallowing the button cell battery can be lethal. Do not store in a place that can be reached by children. If swallowed, please contact a doctor immediately.
• Please have the parents or guardians change the batteries.
• Please do not use old batteries with new batteries, or use different types of batteries together.
• Please set the battery in its proper + and – position.
• Do not short-circuit, recharge, dismantle, heat, or place the battery into a fire.
• Please follow your local district and area rules when discarding the product or batteries.

Do not douse the product in water or wet the product. Do not use or place the product in humid or high-moisture conditions.

Please be careful not to place the “MASKED RIDER TAMAGOTCHI” in your clothes and wear to avoid washing or drying of the product.

< Usage Warnings>

• We are not responsible for loss of data from use of the product.
• Discard plastic packaging immediately after opening.
• Do not place the product on resin treated products such as sofas, seats, and tiles. Long-term exposure may discolor the product.
• Do not forcibly pull or bend moveable parts or attachments.
• The battery included is only for demonstration purpose. Please replace the battery if the screen does not show properly.
• The product is composed of various electronic components. Do not drop, wet, dirty, or dismantle the product. Do not use or store the product under extreme temperatures.
• Please press the reset switch if the product encounters an error.
• Clock precision: ±10 seconds daily

Product Details

Join the MASKED RIDER BOYS

1. Pull out the tab from the casing.
   A sound will ring, and the time setting screen will appear.

2. Reset instructions Press on the reset switch on the back of the casing with a tipped object to do a reset.
   A sound will ring if successful. ※ Do not press hard on the reset switch using pointed objects, such as mechanical pencils, to prevent damage to the device.
   ※ Please press the reset switch after changing the batteries.

3. Setting the timer
   Use the A button to set the time in order of “hours” → “minutes”. Use the B button to confirm the changes. Press the C button to return a step back.
   ※Be sure to set the time properly to “AM” or “PM”.

4. Joining the MASKED RIDER BOYS Once the timer is set, the kid on screen will wear a cap and necktie, and then join the “MASKED RIDER BOYS”!

※ Please refer to “Reset instructions” if the device or screen doesn’t function properly.
※ There is no save function to the product. Please be warned that changing batteries or going through the “Reset instructions” will reset your current play data.

Timer Controls

To view the time
Press the B button during the “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” display screen to transition to the timer screen. Press the B button again to return to the “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” display screen.

To adjust the time
Press the B button to transition to the timer screen, then press the A button while the C button is pressed to transition to the timer setting screen. To set the time, please follow the instructions under “Setting the timer” (see “2. Join the MASKED RIDER BOYS”).

Turning the sound on and off

Press the A button while the C button is pressed during the “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” display screen to transition to the sound select screen. Use the A button to select between “ON” or“OFF” then press the B button to confirm the change.
※Please be warned that turning the sound “OFF” will prevent the character call from ringing.

Changing batteries

Low batteries may cause the screen to go blank and may lead to loss of controls. Please replace the batteries when the battery exchange icon is displayed.

1. Slide the battery cover downward (IMAGE ) while pressing down on the push lock on the back (IMAGE ) using a pointed object.
2. Remove the batteries and replace them with new batteries (2 x LR44 batteries; sold separately) making sure that the and of the batteries are properly set.
3. Always go through the “Reset instructions” (see “2. Join the MASKED RIDER BOYS“) after the battery cover is placed back into its closed position.

Train your “MASKED RIDER BOY” and “MASKED RIDER”

Call
You will need to take the proper action depending on the state of your “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” on the screen when either calls for you. If you miss a call from “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER,” press the C button to confirm their state. ** Food**
If “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” is hungry, press the A button to open the select screen, then use the A button to select “ ” → “ ”, and then press the B button to give them food.
※You cannot give food to the MASKED RIDER when SHOCKER COMBATMEN are present, or when they’re sleeping, sick, about to part ways, or is about to depart.

Snack
If “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” is unhappy, press the A button to open the select screen, then use the A button to select “ ” → “ ”, and then press the B button to give them a snack to eat.
※You cannot give snacks to the MASKED RIDER when SHOCKER COMBATMEN are present, or when they’re sleeping, sick, about to part ways, or is about to depart. Lights
When “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” goes to sleep, press the A button to open the select screen, then use the A button to select (OFF) and  then press the B button to turn the lights off. (You cannot control anything other than

turning the lights on or off, displaying and fixing the time, or turning the sound on or off while “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” is sleeping.)
※You cannot turn the lights on or off while they’re awake.

SHOCKER Attacks

After a certain amount of time passes, SHOCKER COMBATMEN will appear as enemies. The SHOCKER COMBATMEN will slowly take over the screen. Press the A button to defeat the SHOCKER COMBATMEN before they take over the screen completely.
※You cannot defeat the SHOCKER COMBATMEN if the MASKED RIDER is sleeping, sick, about to part ways, or is about to depart.

Mini-game
You can choose from 2 different mini-games to play. Press the A button to open the select screen, and choose Next use the A button to select the mini-game you want to play, and press the B button to start playing.
※You cannot play any of the mini-games when SHOCKER COMBATMEN are present, or when your MASKED RIDER is sleeping, sick, about to part ways, or is about to depart. ****

Mini-game “MASKED RIDER Kick”
Press the A button repeatedly for8 seconds. With enough presses, yourMASKED RIDER will unleash a powerfulmove, the MASKED RIDER Kick. If you do not press the button enough, your MASKED RIDER will fall down.
Mini-game “Ride Challenge”
Ride your bike and avoid the rocks. Press the A button to move “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” up and press the B button to move down. Avoid 20 rocks to get a perfect result. You will fail if your bike hits a rock.
Sick
“MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” will get sick if the SHOCKER COMBATMEN are left alone or if you do not train the MASKED RIDER. If sick, press the A button until the MASKED RIDER fully recovers. If left sick, the SHOCKER COMBATMEN will take over the screen and force you to part ways with the MASKED RIDER.
※You cannot display or fix the time, or turn the sound on or off while the MASKED RIDER is sick.
※All controls are inaccessible if the MASKED RIDER is about to part ways.
Parting Ways
The SHOCKER COMBATMEN will come and take over the screen and force “MASKED RIDERBOY” or “MASKED RIDER” to part ways with you if left sick or gets sick a number of times.
Departure
When “MASKED RIDER BOY” turns into a “MASKED RIDER” the MASKED RIDER will leave in 2 days to save others in need from the enemies.
※If your MASKED RIDER turns into a secret “MASKED RIDER” the MASKED RIDER will leave in 1 day instead.
How to train a new MASKED RIDER…
You can train a new MASKED RIDER if “MASKED RIDER BOY” or “MASKED RIDER” parted ways, or if your “MASKED RIDER” departed. Press the A button while the C button is pressed to restart from “Joining the MASKED RIDER BOYS”.

Your MASKED RIDER BOYS can turn into any one of the legacy of MASKED RIDERS depending on the training!

• How many times you responded to your MASKED RIDER’s call for food
• How many times you gave your MASKED RIDER snacks
• How many times you defeated the SHOCKER COMBATMEN
• How many times you played the mini-games ……These may affect the result!
