[PRECAUTIONS]
- Not responsible for lost data.
- This product is made with intricate parts. It could break if you add unnecessary force or drop it.
- This product is also made with intricate electrical parts. Please refrain from dropping, getting it wet or taking it apart. Do not store in very high or low-temperature places.
- Please do not leave the product on resin sofas, sheets or tiles for a long period of time. It may stain them.
- Do not pull too hard or bend the parts.
- The installed batteries are for testing. Please change them when the screen starts blurring (page 37).
- Keep batteries away from children. The battery may be harmful if swallowed.
Remove and dispose of used or exhausted batteries properly. Remove the battery when not in use or discharged. The battery is to be inserted with the correct polarity; the supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
INSTRUCTIONS
ACTIVATION
-
Remove insulation sheet (pull tab from the back of the unit). The device will beep and Digimon 20th will appear on the screen.

RESET : Press the reset button with a thin tip object like a pen or pencil.
Gently press the reset button to avoid damaging the device.

NAMING: Press A, B, or C to enter naming function. While blinking, pressing A selects letter, pressing B confirms the selection, pressing C returns to the previous letter.
After 4 entries a confirmation screen will appear. To finalize the name press B.
• Holding A down will rapidly advance the letter.
• If no entry is made, the screen will not advance to the confirmation page.
• You will not be able to rename your DigiVice once the name has been confirmed. -
CLOCK SETTING: Pressing A adjusts the hour, B adjusts the minutes, C confirms the selection.
*To rapidly advance the hour hold down A or advance minutes by holding down B. -
Hatching DigiMons: After confirming the name and setting the clock, a Digimon egg will appear and hatch after one minute.
CLOCK

CHECKING CLOCK: Press B on the base screen (not choosing any icons), to view the clock. Press B again to return to the base screen.

CHANGING THE TIME SETTING: On the clock screen, press A & C buttons simultaneously to adjust the clock. Proceed to follow the 4 CLOCK SETTING instructions on page 8.
RAISING 2 DIGIMONS
Once your first Digimon grows up a second egg will appear. From the base
screen, press C to change the egg type.
Select the second egg type by pressing A and B together, select by pressing A,
confirm by pressing B. Wait for 1 minute and the egg will hatch into your
second Digimon.
After you have 2 DigiMons, you will be able to change the base screen.

A. HEALTH
Check the health of your Digimon: Press A until the HEALTH icon is
highlighted, then press B to confirm the selection. Pressing C returns to the
base screen.
*If 2 DigiMons appear simultaneously, you will see the status of the left one first.
B. FEED
Press A until the FEED icon is highlighted, then press B to confirm the
selection. Pressing C returns to the base screen.
Press A to select food or protein, press B to confirm the selection.
FOOD (1 OR 2 DIGIMONS): Each food fills in one heart on the hunger gauge.
When full your Digimon will not eat.
PROTEIN (1 OR 2 DIGIMONS): 4 proteins fill one bar on the DP gauge. When
full your Digimon will not eat more protein.
As your Digimon grows he will eat more.
For 2 DigiMons, once one is full, the other is able to eat.
NOTE: Feeding too much protein is not good for your Digimon.
C. TRAIN
Press A until the TRAIN icon is highlighted, then press B. Pressing C
returns to the base screen.
- Pressing C stops the training.
- DigiMon will not benefit from the training if it is stopped.
[SINGLE TRAINING BEGINS WHEN 1 DIGIMON IS SHOWN]
When the”!” icon appears, press the A button repeatedly to increase Digimon’s
training power. The more wall your DigiMon destroys, the more effort he will
gain. You must destroy some of the walls to increase your
Digimon’s effort.
[TAG TRAINING BEGINS WHEN 2 DIGIMONS ARE SHOWN]
Choose A for upper attack or B for lower attack. Divert assaults to increase
your chance of victory!
When you land an attack more than 3 times, you win! Tag training will grow the
effort power of both OigiMons.
D. DIGIVICE BATTEL
To fight DigiMons that challenge you. You can choose between Single or Tag
battles.
Press A until the DIGIVICE BATTLE icon is highlighted, then press B. Pressing
C returns to the base screen.
- Choose Single or Tag battle.
- Select the DigiMon you would like to fight with. If Tag battle, you can choose either DigiMon you have.
- select if you want to start a new battle or continue a previous battle.
[SINGLE BATTLE STARTS WITH 10 HP]
When the “!” icon appears, press A repeatedly to increase your Digimon’s
power. After the first attack, your DigiMon will use his special powers and
continue to fight automatically. The first DigiMon to deplete their opponent’s
HP or the one with the highest HP after 5-6 fights wins.
Wait 3 seconds without pressing a button to view the
winner.
[TAG BATTLE STARTS WITH 30 HIT POINTS]
When the “!” icon appears, the power bar will begin moving up and down. Stop
it by hitting either A or B. Once the power meter is stopped, press A
repeatedly to increase power. After 3 seconds, the battle will start. When a
DigiMon gets hit, it will tag out to change the DigiMon that is attacking. The
first DigiMon to deplete their opponent’s HP or the one with the highest HP
after 5-6 fights wins.
NOTE: Hitting A repeatedly makes your DigiMon
attack with a higher power.
15 seconds after you see”!”, it will go to the next repetitive hit using one
bar.
If after 6 battles both DigiMons have the same HP, the battle is a tie.
[TAG TRAINING BEGINS WHEN 2 DIGIMONS ARE SHOWN]
E. FLUSH
To pick up poop, press A until the FLUSH icon is highlighted, then press B.
F. LIGHTS
To wake up or put your DigiMon to sleep, press A until the LIGHicon is
highlighted, then press B.
[WAKE UP DIGIMON]
After your Digimon’s bedtime, you can make him stay up for an extra 15 minutes
to take care of him (feeding, etc.).
[PUT YOUR DIGIMON TO BED]
You can put a blanket over your DigiMon while he’s sleeping. You can also make
your DigiMon take a 3-hour nap during the day.
*A Digimon’s power increases 10 when it sleeps for 1 hour. He will have full power after 3 hours of sleep.
When DigiMons are infants they cannot sleep. Digimon in stage II infancy can
sleep but do not gain power from sleeping.
NOTE: When DigiMons are asleep, they do not get hungry or lose strength.
If you can’t take care of your DigiMon during the day, you should consider
sending them to bed. Be careful though, naps make your DigiMon evolve slower.
G. MEDICAL ATTENTION
If your DigiMon gets injured, you need to give him medical attention. To
heal him, press A until the MEDIAL ATTENTION icon is highlighted, then press
B. You need to continue treatment until the SKULL icon disappears. If you
leave an injury untreated for too long your DigiMon could die.
H. ALBUM
To see the names of the OigiMons you have raised, ones you have received or
won in past battles, press A until the ALBUM icon is highlighted, then press B
to confirm the selection.
[DIGI]
View DigiMons you have raised in the album. You can choose the next one with
A, and confirm with B, and then the name will appear.
[STOCK]
View DigiMons you have received as copies from your friends (page 29).
*Only 2 DigiMons can be held in stock at the same time.
To change to a 3rd DigiMon you will need to delete one currently in stock.
[RECORD]
View your single or tag battle records (number of battles/number of wins).
Select screens by pressing A or B.
[NAME]
Checking your name.
I. TWO DIGIVICE COMMUNICATION
Press A until the two DIGIVICE COMMUNICATION icon is highlighted, then
press B. Pressing C returns to the base screen.
[SINGLE BATTLE BETWEEN 20TH VERSION DIGIMON]
Select “20lh” then “SINGLE” and confirm each with B. Select the DigiMon you
would like to battle, then follow the instructions on page 16. When “BATTLE”
is shown on screen, connect two DigiVices together, as illustrated, and press
B to start the battle.
[TAG BATTLE BETWEEN 20TH VERSION DIGIMON]
Select “20th” then “TAG” and confirm each with B. Select the DigiMon you would
like to battle then follow the instructions on page 16. When “BATTLE” is shown
on the screen, connect the two DigiVices together, as illustrated, and press B
to start the battle.
If after 6 battles both DigiMons have the same HP, the
battle is a tie.
[BATTLE BETWEEN OTHER DIGIVICE DIGIMON]
You can battle Digimon from additional classic edifices (page 32). Select
“OTHER”.
Select the Digimon you would like to battle. When “BATTLE” is shown on screen
connect two DigiVices together, as illustrated, and press B to start the
battle. Digimon will automatically use their special skills to battle. When
an attack hits, HP marks will fill in. The first DigiMon to fill in their
opponent’s HP wins.
For the communication between DigiVice version 3 (15th) select D-3 when “BATTLE” is shown.
[HOW TO COPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY DIGIMON]
Press A until the TWO DIGIVICE COMMUNICATION icons are highlighted, then press
B. Pressing C returns to the base screen. Select “COPY” then “SEND”
confirming each with B. Select an adult DigiMon from the album with A, and
confirm with B.
When “COPY” is shown on the screen, connect the two DigiVices together and
press Bon either DigiVice. When “OK” appears, the copy is complete.
[HOW TO RECEIVE 20TH ANNIVERSARY DIGIMON]
Press A until the TWO □IGIVICE COMMUNICATION icons are highlighted, then press
B. Pressing C returns to the base screen. Select “COPY” then “GET” confirming
each with B. When “COPY” is shown on screen, connect two DigiVices together
and press B on either DigiVice. When “OK” appears the copy is complete. When
“OK” is shown, the DigiMon sent to you will be added to your stock.
NOTE: You can Tag battle DigiMon you’ve copied with DigiMon you’ve
raised.
Be careful, the strength of a copied DigiMon may be less than the same type of
DigiMon that you’ve raised. If you have 2 of the same type of DigiMon, you
must select the one you do not want to battle.
If you already have 2 DigiMons in your stock, a selection screen will appear.
Select the DigiMon you do not want to keep in stock.
- To return to the previous menu while “Battle” or “COPY” is shown press C.
- If you separate DigiVices before “OK” appears, the copy may not work correctly.
- When “OK” is shown, the DigiVices can be separated.
- If “OK” does not appear, press B. If “ERROR” or “RETRY” appears, reconnect devices and prepare to connect again by pressing B.
- If the batteries are low, you will not be able to copy DigiMon.
THE FOLLOWING DEVICES CAN CONNECT:
- Digital Monster DigiVice (released in 1997)
- DigiVice Ver.15th (released in 2015)
- D-3 DigiVice Ver.15th (released in 2016)
- Digital Monster Ver.20th DigiVice (released in 2017 in Japan, 2019 other markets)
Refer to each DigiVices’ manual for specific device instructions.
Al DigiVices may not be compatible with each other.
Copied DigiMons are only compatible with the Ver. 2Oth DigiVice.
J. ALERT
When your DigiMon is hungry, low on protein or when it’s time for bed, it will make an alert sound.
DEATH OF DIGIMONS
When a DigiMon dies of hunger, injury, or natural causes, a gravestone will
appear.
If your DigiMon has died from natural causes, select the Station to see his
history. Your deceased DigiMon will have left you new egg to hatch.
SELECTING A DIGIMON EGG
When you receive a new DigiMon egg you can select the design of the egg you
would like to hatch by pressing A & B together. The selected egg will hatch
within a minute.
NOTE: When certain conditions are met, you will have more eggs to select
from.
SOUND
From the base screen press A & C together to turn on/off the sound function.
When the sound is off, you will not receive audible alerts.
EVOLUTION OF DIGIMONS
SPECIAL SECRETS!
-
Under certain conditions, you may get a special DigiMon egg! Digimon hatched from special eggs will evolve into stronger DigiMons. Raise him as you would a normal DigiMon. To increase your chances of receiving a special egg, raise all your DigiMons well, then battle and share your DigiMons.

Some Ultimate DigiMon can grow especially strong when their DigiVice is connected to another DigiVice.
CHANGING BATTERIES
WARNING: This product contains a button or coin cell battery. A swallowed Button or Coin Cell Battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as two hours and lead to death. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
CHANGING BATTERIES
- Remove and replace the battery (CR2032). Double-checking the +/- battery positions.
- Replace the battery door and tighten the screw.
- Follow the reset Load & Reset process.
LOAD RESET
After replacing the battery use A to select “LOAD” then confirm with B to
continue from where you left off.
If you select and confirm “RESET” All previous play will be deleted.
WHEN TD RESET
When the DigiVice isn’t functioning properly. Press the reset button.
The reset button should not be pressed unnecessarily as pressing it will erase
all saved play.
