SAFETY CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS ON SAFETY OF USE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
The warranty conditions are different if the device is used for commercial purposes.
- Before using the product please read carefully and always comply with the following instructions. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damages due to any misuse.
- The product is only to be used indoors. Do not use the product for any purpose that is not compatible with its application.
- The applicable voltage is 230V, ~50Hz. For safety reasons, it is not appropriate to connect multiple devices to one power outlet.
- Please be cautious when using around children. Do not let the children to play with the product. Do not let children or people who do not know the device to use it without supervision.
- WARNING: This device may be used by children over 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without experience or knowledge of the device, only under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or if they were instructed on the safe use of the device and are aware of the dangers associated with its operation. Children should not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years of age and these activities are carried out under supervision.
- After you are finished using the product always remember to gently remove the plug from the power outlet holding the outlet with your hand. Never pull the power cable!!!
- Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision. Even when use is interrupted for a short time, turn it of f from the network, unplug the power.
- Never put the power cable, the plug or the whole device into the water. Never expose the product to atmospheric conditions such as direct sunlight or rain, etc.. Never use the product in humid conditions.
- Periodically check the power cable condition. If the power cable is damaged the product should be turned to a professional service location to be replaced in order to avoid hazardous situations.
- Never use the product with a damaged power cable or if it was dropped or damaged in any other way or if it does not work properly. Do not try to repair the defective product yourself because it can lead to electric shock. Always turn the damaged device to a professional service location in order to repair it. All the repairs can be done only by authorized service professionals. The repair that was done incorrectly can cause hazardous situations for the user.
- Never put the product on or close to the hot or warm surfaces or the kitchen appliances like the electric oven or gas burner.
- Never use the product close to combustibles.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of the counter.
- Parts and accessory devices should not be washed in the dishwasher.
DETAILED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Never use the coffee machine if it is not filled with water.
- The coffee machine may emit steam. Take care not to burn yourself.
- The pot and the coffee inside it are hot. Lift the pot holding it by the handle. Take care not to burn yourself.
- Do not place the coffee machine on a metal surface (e.g. a tray).

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Prior to the first tea/coffee preparation, run the coffee machine without coffee and without the paper filter, filled only with water.
- Connect the coffee machine to mains power.
- Fill the water tank (2) with water until it reaches the maximum level.
- Put the Carafe (9) onto the warming plate(4).
- Activate the brewing process by using the On/Off button (13)
- Wait for all of the water to transfer
- Turn the coffee machine off using the On / Off button (13) and disconnect from the mains power.
BREWING COFFEE /TEA
- Make sure that the coffee machine is connected to mains power.
- Open the water tank lid (1) and pour sufficient water into the water tank (2). Take care not to exceed the maximum level.
- Fill the filter (20) with coffee/tea. You can use replaceable paper inserts. Place the filled filter in the funnel (6).
- Optionally you can use the Strength option button (14) to make the coffee stronger. The Strength indicator (18) will turn on.
- Activate the brewing process by using the On/Of f button (13). The On / Off Indicator will turn on.
- Wait until all of the water is transferred from the water tank (2) to the pot (9).
- The coffee machine will operate in pot-warming mode for the next 40 minutes. After that time the On / Off indicator will turn off.
- When you have finished using the coffee machine turn it off using the on/off button (5) and disconnect from the mains power.
!! WARNING!! Make sure to throw out the used coffee ground from the Filter and clean the filter and Funnel after every use and before storage. The coffee ground/tea will start to mold and will.
Clock setting:
- Turn on the device with the On / Off button (13)
- The display (19) will light up and show 12:00.
- Using the Minute (11) and Hour (15) buttons you can change the displayed time.
Programming auto On function:
You can set the device to begin brewing at the desired time. To do so follow
the steps below:
- Turn on the device using the On / Off button (13).
- Set up the current time following the above Clock setting instructions
- Press the Program button (12).
- The Program Indicator (16) will start to blink.
- The display will show 12:00.
- Use the Hour (15) and Minutes (11) buttons to change the start time.
- Confirm with the Program button (12).
- The Program indicator (16) will now stay lit.
- To turn off press the Program button (12) again. The Program Indicator (16) will disappear.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning:
- Disconnect the coffee machine from the mains power.
- Never immerse the coffee machine in water.
- You can wipe it with a soft, damp cloth.
- Rinse the filter under running water. Wash the pot with a soft, damp cloth and dishwashing detergent.
- Elements of the coffee machine should not be washed in a dishwasher.
Descaling:
To ensure that the coffee machine operates reliably and be fully effective it
needs to be descaled regularly. The frequency of descaling depends on water
hardness and frequency of use. The depositing limescale leads to longer coffee
preparation and may lead to damage to the coffee machine.
PLEASE DESCALE THE DEVICE ONE EVERY 5-8 weeks. Devices damaged by bad
maintenance will not be eligible for warranty claims and repair.
We recommend using descaling liquids especially suited to coffee machines and
kettles with plastic housing. Follow the given instructions. After rinsing the
limescale deposits from the water elements of the coffee machine, perform 3
brews using only water prior to the first coffee brewing.
