  • Please read this manual carefully and thoroughly to become as familiar as possible with the functions and features of your new alarm clock.
  • This unit requires power from a 9V/2A mains adapter. Once connected to the power supply, the unit will automatically switch into the standby mode.
  • To fully disconnect the unit from the power supply, unplug the power cord from the main socket.
  • Warning: Before using this device, check that the local mains power supply meets the requirements of this device. Do not connect or disconnect the adapter with wet hands.
  • If you will not be using the device for an extended period (e.g. on holiday), unplug the adapter from the mains socket.
  • DC (DC) battery for clock backup: Connect two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) to the battery terminals in the BATTERY COMPARTMENT. They help to maintain proper clock operation in the event of a mains power failure.
  • During a power failure, the display will not show the time, but the clock will still keep the correct time.
  • Wireless charging: Place your wireless charging-enabled smartphone on the WIRELESS CHARGER.
  • After about a second, the wireless charging icon will light up. If this icon does not light up, adjust the position of your smartphone so that its charging coil is aligned with the WIRELESS CHARGER.
  • If there is a metal object on the wireless charger and it is not a wireless charging device, the wireless charging icon will flash.
  • DO NOT use in environments with high temperature, humidity, or corrosives.
  • DO NOT place the wireless charger too close to magnetic strips or smart cards. Do not place this alarm clock in proximity to magnetic cards (ID cards, bank cards, etc.) with magnetic strips or chips to avoid damage to the card.
  • Using the USB charging output: The USB 5V/2A charging port can be widely used for charging other mobile devices.
  • USB charging delivers a maximum of 1–2 A to mobile devices, depending on the specific specifications of the mobile devices.
  • SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: To ensure a long-term and reliable service, do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures or high humidity. For example, never place the unit in areas designed for swimming or near kitchen ranges or radiators.
  • If the unit malfunctions, return it to the nearest service center. Do not attempt to repair the appliance on your own.
  • To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or humidity.
  • To prevent electric shock, do not open the case of the device. Always have the unit repaired by a qualified service technician.
  • Keep out of the reach of children. Ensure that children are kept a safe distance away from this alarm clock.
  • Please keep a distance of at least 20 cm between this wireless charger and medical implants (pacemakers, cochlear implants, etc.) to prevent damage to medical devices.
  • Ensure that the power supply is disconnected before cleaning this alarm clock. Always use a slightly dampened soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use cleaning products or abrasive cleaners.

GETTING STARTED

Main Unit
Remove the battery compartment door and insert 3pcs AAA size battery.
Or connect the power cord to the wall outlet. Before connecting the unit to power, please make sure your local voltage is the same as marked on the adaptor.

Note

  • When powered by battery only, the backlight would be off. Press the snooze button, backlight will last for around 5 seconds.
  • When connecting with the adaptor on the premise that batteries have been installed correctly, this product will switch to the external power supply automatically.

Outdoor Sensor
Insert 2 x AA batteries observing polarity [ “+” and “–“ marks]

INSTALLATION

Place the main unit onto a flat surface, the remote sensor could be placed onto a flat surface or securely mounted onto a horizontal surface. Transmissions between the main unit and the remote sensor can reach up to 100m in an open area.
NOTE: Open area means there are no interfering obstacles such as buildings, trees, vehicles, high voltage lines, etc.

RF TRANSMISSION

  • The main unit automatically starts receiving transmission from sensors for temperature & humidity after powering on.
  • The sensors will automatically transmit temperature and humidity signals to the main unit after the batteries are inserted. For having more than one external transmitter (maximum), select the Channel, CH1, CH2, or CH3 to ensure each sensor is transmitting a different channel before inserting batteries.
  • The channel select switch (D7) is above the battery compartment of the sensor.
  • If the main unit fails to receive transmission from the sensor in the first 5 minutes after the batteries are inserted” displayed on the LCD), hold the “SENSOR” button (B3) for 2 seconds to receive transmission manually. RF icon “ ” displays on the LCD.

TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY

Outdoor Channel
Press the “SENSOR” button (B3) to view the 3 different channels’ temperature & humidity. The sequence is shown as follows:

Temperature & Humidity Record

  1. Past 24 hours maximum/minimum temperature and humidity
    • After start-up, the unit automatically shows the past 24 hours’ highest & lowest temperature and humidity records.
  2. Recorded maximum/minimum temperature and humidity from Start-up/Reset.
    • Press the “MEM” button (B7) to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity record from start-up or reset for 15 seconds, “ ” flashes on the LCD. When viewing the memory record, press the “SENSOR” button (B3) to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity memory record of different outdoor channels
    • When viewing the memory record, hold the “MEM” button for 2 seconds to clear all the maximum and minimum memory records.

NOTE: Hold the “SENSOR” button for 2 seconds to receive the transmission from sensors manually, it would clear the maximum and minimum temperature & humidity records of the sensors too.

Temperature

  • Press the “°C /°F” button to select temperature in Celsius mode or Fahrenheit mode.
  • The measurable indoor temperature range is -10°C to + 50°C. If the indoor temperature is out of the measurable range, LL. L (beyond the minimum temperature) or HH.H (beyond the maximum temperature) will be shown on the indoor temperature column of the LCD.
  • If the sensors’ temperature is lower than -40°C, the display will read LL.L
  • If the sensors’ temperature is higher than +70°C, the display will read HH.H

NOTE: When the temperature is lower than -20°C or higher than +50°C, the sensor might not work properly.

Humidity Range

  • The humidity measurable range is 0% ~ 99%.

Outdoor Temperature Alert Function

  • Press the “ALERT ON/OFF” button (B9) to select to activate or deactivate the sensor’s temperature alert function of the current display channel. – press the ALERT button to
  • Activate sensor’s upper-temperature alert: the outdoor upper-temperature alert value & icon “ ” would flash for 3 seconds, then return to the current outdoor temperature display automatically, and the icon “ ” beside the outdoor temperature digit would display.
  • Activate the sensor’s upper& lower temperature alert: icon “ ” and lower temperature alert value flash for 3 seconds, then return to the current outdoor temperature display automatically, and the icon “ ” beside the outdoor temperature digit display.
  • Activate the sensor’s lower temperature alert: the icon “ ” beside the outdoor temperature digit displays. Deactivate the sensor’s temperature alert, and the alert icon disappears.
  • Hold the “ALERT SET” (B9) button for 2 seconds to start the setting of the current channel’s outdoor temperature alert function, icon “ ” or “ ” flashes. Press the “+” or “- “button to adjust the setting value, and press “ALERT SET” (B9) again to confirm the setting. Setting Sequence as follows: Upper limit of temperature, Lower limit of temperature.
  • When it’s alerting, the corresponding icon “ ” or “ ” and temperature digit would flash on the LCD. Press any buttons to stop the alert sound, otherwise, it will sound for 2 minutes, and stop automatically.

TIME AND ALARM

Radio Controlled Clock
After power is on and the main unit finishes receiving the transmission from the outdoor sensor, the clock automatically starts to scan the DCF time signal. The radio control icon “ ” flashes on the LCD.

  • The clock automatically scans the time signal at 3.00 a.m. every day to maintain accurate timing. If reception fails, scanning stops (“ ” on LCD disappears) and repeats at 4.00 a.m.
  • The clock can be set to scan the time signal manually by holding the “+” & “- “buttons (B4&B10) for 2 seconds. Each reception takes about several minutes.
  • Stop scanning by holding “+” & “- “buttons (B4&B10) for 2 seconds.
  • “DST” is shown on the LCD if it is in daylight saving time mode.

Manual Time Setting

  • Hold the “TIME SET” button (B4) for 3 seconds to enter Clock/Calendar setting mode.
  • Press the “+” or “-” button to adjust the setting and press the “TIME SET” button to confirm each setting. By keeping the “+” or “-” button pressed, could speed up the setting.
  • The setting sequence is shown as follows: RCC ON/OFF, 12/24 Hour, Time Zone, Hour, Minutes, day-week language, Year, Month-Day sequence, Month, Day, Weather forecast.
  • 10 languages can be selected in Day-of-week, which are: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Russian, Czech, and Norwegian.

Note

  • The time setting mode will automatically exit in 15 seconds without any adjustment.
  • The Time zone is used for the countries that can receive the DCF time signal but the time zone is different from the German time. When the country time is faster than the German time for 1 hour, the zone should be set to +1. Then the clock will automatically set 1 hour faster from the signal time received.
  • If set RCC to OFF during setting, then there’s no setting of “TIME ZONE”.
  • Set the current weather in the setting. The weather forecast may not be accurate if the current weather entered is not correct.

Daily Alarm Function

  • Press the “ALARM ON/OFF” button (B6) to turn on or turn off the alarm function.
  • Alarm time and alarm icon “ ” display if the alarm function is activated.
  • Hold the “ALARM SET” button (B6) button for 2 seconds to enter the setting of alarm time. Press the “+” or “- “ button to adjust the alarm time. Press the “ALARM SET” button to confirm the setting.
  • When the alarm is alerting, the alarm icon “ ” flashes. Press the “SNOOZE” button (B1) to activate the snooze alarm, (“ ” flash on the LCD). The alarm will snooze for around 5 minutes, then it alarms again. This snooze function can be enabled for a maximum of 7 times.
  • Except “SNOOZE” button, press any buttons to stop the snooze alarm. Otherwise, the alarm signal sounds for about 2 minutes and then stops automatically.

WEATHER FORECAST AND BAROMETRIC PRESSURE

Weather Conditions

  • Set the current weather in the time setting. The weather forecast may not be accurate if the current weather entered is not correct.
  • The current weather status should be set again if the altitude of the main unit is changed. (Barometric pressure is lower at higher altitude locations. Therefore, altitude change will affect the weather forecast).
  • There are 5 different weather status animations:

Note

“Freezing or Snow” is shown if the weather forecast is rainy and the outdoor temperature (any channel) is under 0°C.

  • Frost Alert: “ ” is shown if channel 1’s temperature is between -2°C ~ +3 °C
  • If there is any inconsistency in the weather forecast between the local weather station and this unit, the local weather station’s forecast should prevail.

Barometric Trend Pointer
The trend pointer displayed on the LCD besides the weather forecast indicates the trend of the barometric pressure.

Absolute / Relative Air Pressure

  • Press the “BARO/UNIT” button to select the barometric pressure unit in mb/hPa or inHg.
  • Hold the “BARO/UNIT” button, and the air pressure digit is flashing, then press the “+” or “- “button to select display in absolute or relative pressure, The “rel” or “abs” icon is flashing. “abs” is shown for absolute pressure; “rel” is shown for relative pressure.
  • Press the “BARO/UNIT” button again when the “real” icon is flashing to enter the setting of relative pressure value, press “+” or “-“ to adjust the setting, or keep the “+” or “-” button pressed, may fast forward through units, press
  • “BARO/UNIT” button again to confirm and quit the setting.

Note

  • Absolute pressure is the actual pressure measured by the unit
  • Relative pressure is sea level pressure. Please check your local weather station for sea level pressure information.
  • The setting mode will automatically exit in 15 seconds without any adjustment.

Past hours air pressure (History) reading

  • Press the “BARO HISTORY” button (B2) to view the past 24 hour’s barometric pressure history. The history barometric pressure reading will turn to the current barometric pressure reading automatically in 15 seconds.
  • 0 HR = Current Barometric Pressure Reading
  • 1HR = Barometric Pressure Reading in 1 hour ago
  • 2HR = Barometric Pressure Reading in 2 hours ago ……. etc.

MOON PHASE DISPLAY
Moon phase display would be changed based on the date change.

BACKLIGHT

  • Press the “DIMMER” button to select the brightness of the display

Low battery indication
The low battery icon “ ”will appear, it indicates that the display channel’s sensor is in low battery status. The batteries should be replaced.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Use a pin to press the reset button if the unit does not work properly.
  • Avoid placing the clock near interference sources/metal frames such as computers or TV sets.
  • Do not expose it to direct sunlight, heavy heat, cold, high humidity, or wet areas
  • The outdoor sensor must not be set up and installed underwater. Set it up away from direct sunlight and Rain
  • Never clean the device using abrasive or corrosive materials or products. Abrasive cleaning agents may scratch plastic parts and corrode electronic circuits
  • If there is any inconsistency of weather forecast between the Local Weather Station and this unit, the Local Weather Station’s forecast should prevail. The manufacturer will not take responsibility for incorrect forecasting from this unit.

Warranty

The warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.
This product is warranted for 24 months from the date of purchase to the end- user. The warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods used for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at the dealer’s shop where the product was bought or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appear but only till the end of the warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) products will be accepted. In case of an eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by the end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, the end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, and certificate of installation.

This warranty is void especially if apply as follows

  • Defects which were put on sale.
